Ron Paul Human Rights Hero of Amnesty International?

Individual rights are at the core of human rights, therefore Paul's a great choice.

Agreed.

Long before I supported Ron Paul, I have supported Amnesty International as a donor and still do. 10 bucks a month for the past 5 years... While some of it is involved in trying to influence government policy, it is a great organization that achieves the bulk of its success through ordinary people speaking up and writing letters to let the bullies of the world know that people are watching... that includes the US government.

EDIT: For me, Amnesty International will always be connected to Peter Gabriel's song "Biko". The last verse inspires me quite a bit and can be related to Ron Paul's campaign:

You can blow out a candle
But you can't blow out a fire
Once the flames begin to catch
The wind will blow it higher

When I loaded the screen (from the broken link) Ron Paul was giant and center. He's gonna win it.

looks nice now - Ron Paul with Gandhi, MLK and Mandela.

Wow some of the names up there are disturbing.

Paul's name is getting bigger, its starting to blot out the others.

Ron Paul is even bigger than Jesus!

Uh oh...now I've done it.

LOL, I thought about saying something like that, but was afraid fellow Christians would think I was being serious.

But as long as we're comparing Ron to other people on the list, he's also bigger than John Lennon. ;)

Well, Mandela is in another league then Ron... but great to see Ron up there :D

I read the rules and prizes given -- it's sorta like a raffle and they DRAW A NAME OUT OF THE HAT -- more times Ron Paul is in the hat, the more likely he will win -- but that doesn't mean much -- does it?
