Optimism

I have been remarkably pessimism free, and that is usually my inclination. Not only that, I joined a Meetup group here on the Central Coast, so this is the most involved I've ever been in politics. Hell, I almost have 50 posts in this forum, a record for me! A hippy friend of mine saw Dr. Paul on the Bill Maher show and said that he was awesome. My landlady, who is also a hippy, surprised one of her Republican elder care patients who recently realized that Bush is bad, by telling him that she was voting for a Republican this time, the venerable Ron Paul! Even my friend from the Mideast is telling people about the good doctor! It only took a few YouTube videos to convince a middle-aged co-worker who used to go around registering democrats to jump on the RP wagon. This movement is just in its larval stage right now, soon a beautiful butterfly will be born!!

Make sure you not only spread the word of RP, but that we all need to register as Republican and vote in the PRIMARIES! RP has stepped up to the plate, it is up to us to get him Nominated!

However, let us not be blinded by our own over-optimism. We still have some major campaigning to do. More people need to know about the real Ron Paul. It's a matter of getting the word out really, a large percentage of those who hear about and learn about him for the first time tend to become supporters of him.
