If it's Memorial Weekend, I won't attend because my state convention is being held. A lot of other state conventions are held in May as well. Independence Day will likely be much better in that regard, but traffic will probably be horrendous.
 
Damn it.. I really hope he doesn't choose a date that is already a holiday..
 
So he wants it to be on 4th of July AND now it's going to be a RALLY........... not a MARCH...

you booked your hotel based on guestimated dates? sure you did buddy

putting this in the hands of ANYONE who cant handle this will do anything but make this a success. I hope someone steps up NOW because ron paul saying a date does not make me think it will go together smooth in the least. there is ALOT that goes into something like this and if we are doing this why not do it as a march for the constitution that reaches a BROAD range of people and not simply a freedom march centered around ron paul

Also the 4th of july is my birthday as well as I dont fly on holiday weekends for obvious reasons. Everyone gets a jump in cost including air fair, hotels and so forth.
