Bradley Manning; Ron Paul First in Iowa Despite Fox News and the Republican Party; Kim Jong Il Calls in Dead and Tim Tebow Carries On

There once was a time in America when the goings on of government were reported with somewhat acceptable accuracy, analysis was conducted by writers and broadcast personalities and the product fed to the American people, though several days or weeks behind, was somewhat useful.

(Snicker) Sorry, I can’t believe I actually wrote that sentence. At any rate, the founding fathers recognized that in order for the people to hold their government accountable, the press needed to have protections from government in order to provide such information.

Alright then I will switch it with something that was just published. There is a great SNL link in this article at the very end to make it worth it.

Title edited.

LOL, nice.

Hmm, RP tops the polls and the leader of one of the most freedom-hating regimes has a heart attack....

US food aid for North Korea
Published on Monday 19 December 2011 03:32

The United States is poised to announce a significant donation of food aid to North Korea this week, the first definite accomplishment after months of diplomatic contacts behind the scenes.

An agreement by North Korea to suspend its uranium enrichment programme will most likely follow within days.

Discussions have been taking place since summer in New York, Geneva and Beijing. They have already yielded agreements by North Korea to suspend nuclear and ballistic missile testing, readmit international nuclear inspectors expelled in 2009, and resume a dialogue between North and South Korea, according to US diplomats.

The announcement of the food aid, expected to take place as early as today in Washington, would pave the way for another crucial US-North Korea meeting in Beijing on Thursday.
