Ron Paul: FEMA not necessary
http://thelastword.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/08/26/7490281-ron-paul-fema-not-necessary
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul trashed FEMA today, just hours before Hurricane Irene is scheduled to make landfall in the U.S. Approximately 65 million people are in the storm's projected path.
While giving a speech in Gilford, New Hampshire, the die-hard libertarian said no national response to Hurricane Irene is needed. "A state can decide," Paul said. "We don't need somebody in Washington."
