You can check out the info here:

Looks Art has a great chance to win:
Earlier this year the publication Human Events, predicted a win for Art Robinson. Later, the Washington Times ran a cover story featuring Art as this year's model candidate for uniting GOP regulars, Tea Party activists, and Ron Paul supporters.

He is really good on the issues:

Let me know what you think.

Did anyone here about the $5, 000 check that Ron Paul sent Art Robinson? http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?385429-Ron-Paul-Stands-With-Art-Robinson

It's one thing to endorse a candidate, it's another thing to send him/her money (I never heard about Dr. Paul sending money to Rep. Lamar Smith. :) ) You have to love a candidate to throw $5,000 in his/her direction.

Art is one of the most solid liberty candidates out there. He deserves the gull support of the liberty movement for sure.

Ron has always had a sort of split between his 'best of those on the ballot' endorsements where he thinks it will make a difference on a specific issue that is important to him, and those he supports as liberty candidates who are more aligned. Even there, he did support Bachmann, but she is not Lamar Smith, and he didn't have a ton of choices at the time, and she was going to his lunches etc. I think he kind of was trying to mentor her into a particular direction and maybe it didn't exactly work out as he hoped. But those he donates to he actually wants to elect.

you know, when Bryan didn't create a subforum for Art it was because at that moment noone had started a thread about him for some time, busy on other races. I'm going to raise the idea again.

I think that would be wise. The guy is awesome.

FYI - These are the candidates Liberty PAC has sent money to (as of June 30):

Walter Jones (NC-3)
Thomas Massie (KY-4)
David Schweikert (AZ-5)
Barry Hinckley (RI-Sen)
Kurt Bills (MN-Sen)
Steve Stockman (TX-36)
Wes Riddle (TX-25)
Ted Cruz (TX-Sen)
Randy Weber (TX-14)
Joe Walsh (IL-8)
Andy Sanborn (NH-State Sen)
Bob Goodman (NH-State Rep)

Joe Walsh is the odd one out...

thanks. And then him sending out emails is yet another cut. Is Andy still in the race? We should back him, imho.

Andy Sanborn's primary is September 11. Supposedly he's going to have a tough primary and general.

There's a moneybomb scheduled for August 20:

crud. they had to pick Ron's birthday. Check out the thread I have on what to do for his birthday. I already suggested donations to liberty candidates, as one thing we are batting around. If you like that idea maybe you should chime in.

thanks for posting this :)! Rep. Walsh is ok. He's not the best, but he's better than having a liberal Democrat there. Where did you find this list? I tried going to the Liberty PAC website, but they haven't updated it since APRIL 2012.

NYT's map shows OR-4 as being safe Democrat...

Art Robinson got about 45% of the vote last election. He's getting his message out and has a better chance of winning. The fact is that people in Oregon 4 are not going to vote DeFazio out because he hasn't done anything bad...they're going to vote him out because they haven't heard what he has done good for them. I heard that most people don't even know where DeFazio has been for the last few years.

Art lost 54% to 45% in 2010, so he just needs to swing over about 5% more this time. Tough, but not impossible. Also he has more experience this time.

Robinson told KCBY Thursday night that the lessons he learned in 2010 make his campaign this year better than before.

"I think we learned a lot more about how to communicate with the voters because we were amatures and I'm a scientist and I hadn't been in politics before," Robinson said. "It's all a question of educating the voter. Because they must decide between the candidates."
