The forumer from Sweden needs to seed this.......... he/she was pumpin out the packets w/ the last dvd.
Its a shame we can't have those types of speeds in here in the US, I downloaded sicko from a *.se connection and it never dropped below 1.4mb/sec

Doesn't the average Iowan favor VHS over DVD?

(I'm an iowan and we all have DVD players)I will happily use my 1.5MB/s upload speed from my cable provider to seed this video 24/7 or until they limit my upload speed from uploading too much. If that happens, it's time to order Fios![]()
The average Iowan is exactly who this campaign depends on right now. Show some respect.

Google Video is not the place for this. This is a DVD compilation of videos that are already on Google Video & Youtube. This is for people who have a DVD player, but don't get on the internet.
Edit: (my understanding is that) :tidE Google Video is not the place for this. This is a DVD compilation of videos that are already on Google Video & Youtube. This is for people who have a DVD player, but don't get on the internet.
a way to bring youtube to the people.
Having a video compilation on google video is fine.
but using this DVD to make it wouldn't be any easier than using the videos you want to include that are already on youtube/ google video.
a DVD is not just one long video. it's a series of videos accessible via a menu system. Even traditional movies are split into 'chapters' that play one after another while you're watching.
to make a video compilation for google video/ youtube from it, you have to strip the videos from the file, without the menus, and then string them together, then upload them to google video.
that's not any easier than just taking videos from youtube and stringing them together.
in other words, a compilation project for google video can be undertook, or could have been a long time ago, regardless of the existence of this DVD. It seems like 2 separate projects to me.
If you've seen the entirety of this DVD, and think it would be a good combination of videos for a google video compilation project, that's a different story.
