Ron Paul does not really want to be President he is a very smart man and I am sure that he if he really wanted to win the nomination he would have. He does want to wake people up to the fact that we are giving up our rights for security, we are about to loose our National sovereignty, the economy is crashing.

Ron Paul has the greatest respect for our founding Fathers and the Constitution and he is encouraging us to not forget that we are the home of the brave and the land of the free .

Our Constitution was written and put into place by some very brave men who took huge risk to make us the United States of America. Please don't forget where we came from and don't be afraid to look the government in the eye and demand accountability from the people that we put into office.

The Constitution states that this government is to be for the people , of the people and, by the people. Keep this in mind when you are standing in line at the airport.

standing line at the airport is just the beginning of the lines we will be standing in if we do not make a stand

Actually the Constitution was put in place by men who wanted a strong central government with central banking and British style mercantilism , many wanted a King. Unfortunately for them the Constitution did not allow this system to emerge in their lifetimes, unfortunately for us we live under their system presently.

I think a constitutional monarchy would be superior to this atrocity we have now. Making the president also be the head of state has been a disaster. The president should be an inconsequential administrator, not a psuedo-messianic savior.

I agree, in Herbert Spencer's book "The Man vs The State" he writes that representative government is the best form only if its actions are limited to protecting the rights of the citizens. It`s the worst form when its duties include regulating everything from acorns to xylophones and micromanaging every aspect of peoples lives. In the latter case a dictatorship would be much more efficient.

If he was just running for President without being serious I hope he would have told us that before we sent him 30 million dollars.

All I'm saying is I don't think Ron Paul really wants to be President cause he is very smart,

smart enough to win if he wanted to.

I think he is passing on to a generation ideas and principal that he holds dear.

He is a very honest and humble man too honest to want to have to put up with the total BS he would have to deal with in order to be President. He doesn't like government and he thinks it is gaining on us. He telling us to watch out.
