Crappy, but send Rand?
All stops are out to deny Paul in every way, shape and form. For someone they say has no chance they sure are bending over backwards to throw up roadblocks at every opportunity.
A disgrace to lock out Paul.. the state is all about Romney... Corrupt Corbitt and the fracking boom
Second. They sure are fighting awfully hard to keep a guy who's "unelectable" and "has no chance to win now" from being involved in the processI agree, and I think that fact should speak volumes.
The title of this thread is an extreme exaggeration. I am the one coordinating the Ron Paul table at the PLC. The other three prez candidates expressed interest in this conference weeks upon weeks ago. It was like pulling teeth trying to get an answer from the Ron Paul campaign whether Ron could come or if they could send a surrogate. At the last possible moment they said"let's see if we can find a surrogate". The Conference has a policy - surrogates can only be Senators or Governors. To my knowledge, Rand is the only one that fills that description. But it was so late in the game. So...the other three candidates have speaking spots, but WE are the only ones with a fully staffed table both days. I think it's nice the way it turned out.
Yeah, a couple tables is MUCH better than having a representative or Paul himself.
So if I was drunk and wanted to send Newt Gingrich as my surrogate, I'd get denied because he isn't/wasn't a senator?
