Ron Paul currently in a STRONG SECOND for the Maine Caucus!

I have a feeling Romney is using the LDS church to run a very effective campaign. I would suspect that they spend their church time going over campaign materials and how to get out the vote. That's 5.6 million people nationwide. If each of them went out and got 4 more voters for Romney, that's over 20 million votes and more then enough to win the primary.

If you could catch them doing that I'd love to hear about it.

So would the IRS as it would cost their church it's tax exempt status.

Edit to add: Same thing goes for any church doing something similar for Gov. Huckabee, or even Sen. McCain.

Have they switched the positions around, or WHAT? We was breaking away... this is disgusting.

Pete

we are now third with 19%..... 47% reporting

exactly what I predicted. Its already happening. I believe Ron would win, but he who counts the votes - decides everything.

Even in the LA TIMES today, it said "ron would most likely win maine.."... - yet...
what is happening?

I am noticing that when predictions are made for other candidates, they come true - YET, when they are made for Ron Paul - miraculously, it fails.. hmm.

another LA come to pass.

It all comes down to the same thing as always - we don't get the vote of older people. We have great presence and strong grassroots but that doesnt translate into votes and it doesn't cover the 90% of people who don't openly participate in the election process outside of voting.

I thought just yesterday that RP was getting an unusually high amount of MSM mentions about him winning Maine. I thought that it was a set up for him to lose Maine and that way the media has set him up to "win" and then they can go around and report how he has "lost his only chance to win" all over tomorrow.

NEVER believe the media when they say he could surprise and win. It's always a setup.

Yeah, especially when he came in second in Nevada and they wouldn't even mention him. That's all the stories the last few days smelled fishy.

I can promise you that this is not the case. The Mormon church is very strict about not being involved in politics.

What the hell? What's with the spread? I thought all the candidates had pretty much ignored Maine, except for Ron. And this is what they do? To think, all the rumors .....oooh Ron might win Maine! If it's the results of a suspected win are this wrong.....what the hell?

The others did ignore Maine, so they scrambled in the last few days to get out the vote to win the beauty contest/straw poll. But Paul has been winning a lot of the DELEGATES so far, which is the main deal.
