Okay, guys, here is all I know...

I don't think Dr. Paul is interested in any of these "leadership" roles. I hope that someone will let him know that we are willing to do all we can to try and help him get one of the positions IF he is interested - but I don't think he is interested.

Barney's statement is where I personally think our focus should be:

The best possible achievable scenario is for the GOP to take back the House in 2010, which would make Dr Paul Chair of the House Financial Services Committee. From there Dr Paul could begin shining some light on the cacroaches at the Federal Reserve.

I was told by someone that these three (Cantor for Whip, Pence for Minority Leader, and a guy named Hensarling for House GOP Conference Chairman) are all good, strong SMALL GOVERNMENT conservatives.

From what has been posted here, um....seems they aren't at all....sounds as if these guys are just more of the same ole shit for the GOP, and if they're ignorant enough to put these clowns in charge, then the GOP deserves to languish for decades.

Anyone have info on Hensarling? Is he a small gov't conservative at all, or is he JAJ (Just Another Jackass)?

I just checked Hensarling and he rates at 77% on the RP rating score card which is well above average.
He voted against the bailout as well. Sounds like a possible good choice.

Pence only rated abou 65% which isn't the best and definately not for a leadship position.

Cantor rates at a 71%.

I don't believe any republican can be a chairperson because they are the minority party. Well they probably can but won't get IT.
