Just got word that our Youth for Ron Paul group at UC Davis was successful in petitioning the campaign and Ron will be coming on May 3rd. If your in the area tell everyone you know!

DARN IT I wish I didn't have school that day and AP testing is literally the week after. I'm about 1 hr and 30 min from Davis' campus.

If he talks at San Jose State, which I live like 20 min away from, I would for sure go.

Sounds like Ron is really going for broke in Texas and California!!!! Go UC Davis, can you beat the crowds that UC-Berkeley, UCLA or Chico State drew???

Davis is more rural, I don't know that they can match Los Angeles in crowd size... but I wouldn't mind being wrong!

Remember, sailingaway, Sacramento is only 15 minutes away......and the Bay Area is just over an hour's drive. The crowd may surprise everyone, just like I predicted that the Chico State throng would shock the world and it did!!!

I really think Ron Paul's popularity is growing in the Golden State....

I think his popularity is growing as well, but the media is pretending it is over. Hopefully we will show that isn't true, with the delegate results by then.

Yes, Sac is super close and the Bay Area is not too far either. We are an hour away and are driving up. Davis is a lot closer to more populous areas than Chico is.

I went on a tour of the University through my high school, meant to instill some enthusiasm on the idea of college. It was nice place. One of the things that stuck with me was an army boot being used as a flower pot on a dorm balcony. That was back in the sixties or early seventies.

It is raining at the moment where I am up here but Summer is really starting to kick in. It was in the 90's or so where I went fishing over the weekend.

Also, I think we can really beat the previous California rallys, Davis is situated between San Francisco and Sacramento and slightly to the north in Yolo County which is more conservative than the Bay Area, the Northern Coast or SoCal. We are promoting the hell out of it, and it is on the main quad of campus. Hopefully the rain wont keep up.
