Ron Paul Coast to Coast

This is too funny. Just the other night before Ron got hammered in MI and AZ, first hour guest, social psychologist Dr. Heidi Grant Halvorson talked about the science of success. One of the biggest misconceptions about success is that it's based mainly on innate ability, when really it has more to do with actions that we do or do not take, she explained. Having specific goals, and seizing opportunities are two commonalities among successful people. She suggested that instead of creating just a "to-do list," a person make a "to-do, & when & where list," so that tasks can be accomplished at specific times and places, which increases success rates.

I wonder who could have conveniently joined her on that panel? Hm?

Oh and those weird, loony tunes over at coast might just get to figgerin on what 33 delegates are really worth in Va and put forth a conscious effort to help get it done. Could be that magic number everyone needs to get a move on. But what do I know. Like I said. "Adapt" and reflect upon coulda, woulda, shoulda or get yer wagon train a movin. Can't very well have your revolution without a renaissance. Sheesh.

Sigh. I don't know why I waste my time but wanted to drop a reminder that joining John B. Wells tomorrow are filmmakers Foster & Kimberly Gamble and they will discuss Thrive, their unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what's really going on in our world by following the money upstream -- uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives.

Why is it relevant? Solutions / Liberty ...Of course. Ron Paul is on their website. Why wouldn't he be? Like minded audiences always get what they ask for from coast.

Tonight, First Hour: Investment advisor Catherine Austin Fitts joined George in the studio for an update on economic news. Was an excellent discussion on what is happening with the banks, Federal Reserve and many other aspects of current economic shenanigans you don't hear on msm.

Were probably millions and millions of dingbats listening to that one. Those dern crazies...Because this demograph truly does understand what is going on they are separating themselves from the process. They'll stay home and be comfortable that they know what's what and how to self sustain. True Libertarians, dummies.

Why? Because the process separates itself from them. That's why.

Even the Ron Paul support machine is viewed to be conforming to the establishment process of the flow of information by conforming to loaded questions that they already know the answer to.

Email from George said he'll be in LA on the day Paul is in MO so in studio wouldn't work there.(They have one in MO and one in LA)

A discussion could always be held from the comfort of the statesman's home or office though. Gee, that's convenient.

If you want an audience with millions, I'm telling you that it exists and you can have it. But you have to want it. Which means you have to ask for it. Ask and ye shall receive. Period.

Email the show...get Paul on it...let them know that you know what you're doing. As it is, you're catering to msm.

To them, an opposite demographic, you're the loonies.

And remember. This audience consistently polls numbers second only to Rush Limbaugh. That's a fact.

Oh and one more tid bit of information. Coast to Coast listeners crash websites almost daily. Almost every time they have a guest on the guests web site gets over loaded. 100% fact. How's that float yer money bomb?

The more emails you send, the better. Don't worry. They're used to it. Some may say it's a bad idea because they're stuck in the Hegelian method of the flow of information but I maintain that they don't have any idea what they are talking about.

Far too valuable of a means of communication with voters to keep this thread 3 pages from the front all of the time, Folks. What is it that msm is doing for you besides using you for a stage prop to support the establishment candidate whenever you complain because they are "biased". You're playing their game. and they are winning. Problem, reaction, solution.

There are delegates up for grabs in VA. Play phone tag, let the youth rally and stand outside wherever but to win them requires a conscious effort. So pick up all of the marbles. Not just the pretty ones.

12 radio stations carry the show in VA, btw. Aired and re-aired back to back.

Here is a listing of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times Ron Paul has responded to the program in some way or another whether it be lending his voice, his view and even actual discussion to an audience of millions who actually support him and want to know what he thinks...when listeners have asked...because that's how it works in radio. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/search/?query=ron+paul

It's not hard folks. Takes 30 seconds.

Wow, a coworker just gave me Thrive last night to watch this weekend. :) And by the way, a night shifter here and I listen to c2c nightly. So glad that John B. Wells has taken on more of the guest hosting. I really, really like him He gets it.

Oh, and last night most of the commericals were ones made by Newts PAC. So, if Newts people are spending big bucks to advertise on c2c, why aren't we?

Oh, and last night most of the commericals were ones made by Newts PAC. So, if Newts people are spending big bucks to advertise on c2c, why aren't we?

The answer to that depends on whether or not the ads were running on the national or local feed. If they were on the national feed then Newt's PAC made an ad buy with that show. If however, they were on the local feed it is possible that they could have been purchased as a block of ad time that varies throughout the day. In local radio you can buy ads that run at specific times, or you can buy ads that are somewhat randomly dispersed throughout the 24-hour day. So the ads may have been purchased based upon the reach of the station, not specifically because of the particular program that was on. WHP (if that is the station you heard it on) is the number two station in the market, given that it is a news/talk station it does draw a lot of PAC ads during the campaign season.

Ads were running on the local feed of the commercials. But, way to be liberal nurse. Everyone listens to coast. Well, most everyone. If we email George and those other two producers enough they will absolutely let Ron know we want him on. And as such, he will be. For free.

And just to clarify, since it has been a lot of posts back where this information was posted. Radio ratings are complied differently than TV ratings. In radio, the ratings companies (Nielsen & Arbitron) utilize a seven-day diary with pre-listed quarter hours and station call signs and frequencies. So for a show like Coast to Coast that has 3 million weekly listeners, that does NOT mean that 3 million people are listening to the show at any given time. What it means is that over a 7 day period, 3 million people indicated that they listened to that program for at least one 15-minute segment. Given that Coast to Coast is on seven days per week (28 hours per week), they have a lot of hours to capture listeners. Compare Coast to Coast's listener numbers with Car Talk which has 4 million weekly listeners but is only broadcast for one hour per week. At any given 15-minute segment Car Talk has a significantly larger audience than Coast to Coast does.

The information is important for people to understand the true reach of the radio program.

They already support him. Ron will not be interupted. At all. The work of a small handful in a matter of seconds may very well get him the millions of ears he needs. Just in time.

Coast to Coast is second only to Rush Limbaugh.

And many stations re-air the show back to back.

This is incorrect. Of the 16 talk radio programs listed, Limbaugh ranks 1st, Coast to Coast is 16th.

Paul being on the show will not get him millions of ears. Theoretically, the only way for Paul to reach all of Coast to Coast's three million weekly listeners is if the interview were broadcast repeatedly over the entire 28 hours per week that the show is aired.

Wikipedia? Huh? Come on. Get serious. I could probably go in there and change that myself.

Whatever though. I disagree with that. In fact, I'll ask the producers and let you know. Stay tuned.

Coast say's 3 million weekly in North America. Not counting the re-air.

Guess what? I'll take it.

That is correct, but do you understand what a "weekly listener" is? I have already defined it, what part of that do you not understand. 3 million weekly listeners DOES NOT mean that 3 million people are listening to the show at any given moment in time. It simply means that over the 28 hours that the show is broadcast a total of 3 million people listen to the show for at least one 15-minute segment. So that means that at any given time their listenership could be 1 million persons or 10,000 persons. You have to subscribe to the ratings book to get that level of detail.

I haven't seen Thrive yet, but I've heard that it is a miss-mash of unsubstantiated claims, half-truths, and reality presented in a way to leaves you feeling that you spent a couple hours watching a propaganda piece.

With that said, I plan on checking it out this weekend.

Didn't check. Called the producer. 3 million. Is there a reason why you think it's not worth the effort of asking to have him phone in an interview though? I don't understand that logic.

Well he can very well do so, but don't think that Paul being on the show for 30 mins at 1AM EST on a Monday means that 3 million people will hear it.
