Personally, I do not like this style of campaigning.

You deliver your message, and let the other chips fall where they may. We would find it rude if another candidate said the same of us.

I'm not so sure it's a good idea. Runs the risk of daring voters to prove us wrong, and besides, disrespectful as they were, no candidate ever asked us to get out of the race in 2008 cycle.

edit - let me explain myself. Libertarians were persuaded into the GOP coalition on the premise that there would be something in it for us. There wasn't. They have been shoving us out of the way for two generations and now it's their turn to step aside and join the Paul forces in the name of party unity. If they don't it proves they have been lying to us all this time.

This is a good time for a counter-attack. Remember that Gingrich, Santorum, and Perry have ALL attacked Ron Paul.

To be fair, that was the least insulting of the three. Ron would probably tell you he was the same way last election. He didn't actually challenge Perry's credentials.

I doubt we'll get endorsements from any of the people running, however, you have to leave that 1% chance that we will. Pawleny and Huntsman ripped into Romney and now one is working for him, and the other is hoping to work for him in the future.

I give Perry a 1% chance of endorsing us.

While I like it, I tend to think that this campaign tends to excel in handling conflict and at times pushing conflict, but is subpar when it comes to having a broader vision.

They handled Trump, Newt, Dana Bash, and others brilliantly. My total respect to them for that.

But meanwhile, we should have had TV ads on electability, foreign policy, and protecting Social Security months ago.

Even their latest ad is negative. While it's a really good ad, you can only go so far with that. Ron's bigger message is not that the other candidates really suck.

This is an amazing move, it makes voters think twice before supporting Gingrich/Santorum/Perry because they know they'll be voting for a candidate that WON'T BE ON THE BALLOT in Virginia. That's huge. It will definitely make casual voters think twice before supporting them.
