Ron Paul Campaign Statement on Morning Media Incident

Maybe its getting to the point where Ron's campaign events need to be a bit more "controlled", like Romney's are.

It was a nonsense question. If the media are going to ask questions like this,it's another time waster like 'what do you think about Mitt/Newt/Rick's position on x?' but with more emotional content.Very clever.Answer: ? ' I'm only answering questions that relate to the fixing of this nation's problems.Don't bother me with nonsense and time wasting because the people you are robbing are the citizens of this great nation who are looking for and deserve answers to real, substantive questions right now.'

No, a "great response" = "We learned from reports that a woman and her 90 year old mother were not able to meet with Dr. Paul due to the surge of reporters who over-took the diner. We are happy to report that we have tracked them down and Ron will be visiting her later tonight"

And this is what I have been yelling for months. You create the NEWS!

I mean, if you send out a mass message to the media, don't complain when they all show up. It's a public restaurant. If they want control over the atmosphere then they need to rent out a venue, set up a media area, etc.

We're big-time now. Time to start acting like it.

The New York Times is running a story about Ron dissing CNN, and the reporter witnessed Dana Bash apologizing to Carol Paul. I wouldn't be surprised if Bash was the one who shoved Carol.
Depends on the apology.

"I'm sorry that happened to you, Mrs. Paul." vs "I'm sorry I did that to you, Mrs. Paul."

'YOU WANT TO ASK ME ABOUT THE HANDS I DON'T SHAKE,THE SPEECHES I DON'T MAKE AND THE OTHER CANDIDATES' POSITIONS? I HAVE A PLAN TO RESTORE AMERICA NOW,RIGHT FROM THE FIRST DAY AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DESERVE THE CHANCE TO HEAR IT!'

Doesn't Cousin Janet decide who is worthy?

If RP asked for it, at this point, he'd get it. Everyone recognizes him as a major candidate.

I kind of respect him for not asking for it -- but perhaps there will need to be some rules where only so much press is allowed in, with a bouncer from the campaign at the door.

The lady in the bbc interview had that classic entitlement attitude. "I'm important and people should do what I want them to do, because I deserve it!"

She was acting so angry, even after they arranged a private meeting for her? Entitled and ungrateful attitude.

VIDEO: SMACKDOWN ON DANA. ABOUT TIME RON TOLD THEM OFF!! LOOK AT HER FACE

I love how on every pro Ron Paul video,

The views stay stuck at 301, 312, 302, etc
And the thumbs up at 1100+
and thumbs down at 20+

Youtube is even biased. I wonder why? Thats a hard one to figure out, NoT!

I think youtube imposes those limits on a lot of celeb youtube accounts too. It keeps them off the front page listings, not sure if its bias or an algorithm to keep regular joe videos on the front page.

From what I understand, Secret Service is a security agency which was department of the TREASURY and now is under Homeland Security. Let's stick with private protection and beef it up instead of asking the SS for something.

First, I WANT TO KNOW WHO PUSHED CAROL. That dude/tte needs to be told in no uncertain terms that Carol is hallowed ground, and accidents can happen to careless cameramen who don't watch where they're stepping.

Second, screw the Secret Service. Private security all the way. SS has a rather bad track record when protecting Presidents who aren't as pro-war or pro-bank as a GHWB or LBJ. It was a department of the Treasury after all (now DHS, which is worse, if possible).

But seriously, I want the name/pic of the guy who pushed Carol.
