Hollywood, I think the Memorial Union Quad on the UC-Davis Campus can hold at least 10,000, plus maybe the fee was lower than renting a Stadium.
Probably a similar situation as was UC-Berkeley where the 8,500 gathered in front of the Library.
Amazing, a stadium sitting there, which you don't pay for college security, concessions, or ushers... that you have pay a fee to these ripoff state universities. Local activists can clean-up after appearances/attendances and organize to handle the event in coordination with the campaign/SuperPACs. I can see, maybe a retainer for any damages, etc, but paying for something sitting there is ridiculous to students that are already being ripped-off on exorbitant tuition/fees ... but I see many a athletic depart's, especially football, staffs receiving millions in compensation.Hollywood, I think the Memorial Union Quad on the UC-Davis Campus can hold at least 10,000, plus maybe the fee was lower than renting a Stadium.

Current weather at the Memorial Union Quad on the Campus of UC-Davis as of 6:00 PM PDT, T-Minus 1 hour and counting.....
65 F, mostly cloudy, winds out of the SE at 10 mph, with a 30% chance of rain.....
I am feeling a record crowd tonight!!!!! Can you say 10,000.......
I'm expecting tree monkeys.
