Ron Paul/Barry Goldwater Jr. to be on the ballot in LA

There are a number of states where the deadline for independent candidates has not passed yet. Minnesota IS one of those states, along with Alabama, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin.

Can you tell i'v done my homework? :)

Please people.....lets make this a serious run on one state. Spliting what funds we have will not do any good; make a serious run on Louisiana

If I had a good design, i could run to the local print shop to see about getting a few printed on the plastic sign boards.

ahh... a good place for post cards and things is zooprintingtrade.com I am getting 1,000 business cards FULL Color for $15 and that is with UV coat. I'll see if I can't whip something up.

Very good. Is it the same sort of thing as Louisiana and West Virginia where the candidates don't have to sign off on being on the ballot?

Ron Paul would be worth running in MN in the hope he would get 5% or more to form a new party. The Libertarians and Constitution Party here are small and disorganized. If we could form a new Constitutionalist party, we really might be able to do something here (and put additional pressure on the MNGOP). Minnesota is relatively fair if a party's considered a "major" party (gets the 5% or more in elections for automatic ballot status). I recall a time in the early 2000s when the Democrats, Republicans, Greens, and Independence Party were all over 5% and each had their candidates in debates for Governor, Senate, etc.

They should have all your state's qualification information on this website: http://www.sos.state.mn.us/home/index.asp

by the way, historic thread.
I love productive threads. This reminds me of the summer of 2007. we were rolling out the projects like a printing press.
My fellow patriots in Louisiana make me proud.

Being that I'm the asst. coordinator for louisiana for the CFL, I'll see what I can do to get some other support for this ballot.

I really hope AdamT is up for helping with money bombs, creating ads, and booking time to advertise the ticket.
I have a connection that would be good in helping get the right ads on the rights stations at the right time. This guy helped bobby jindal in his advertising plans and implentations. (this guy i'm talking about is not a neocon, he is very cool)

Brent,

I figure we can easily attain 1%. With a little help, pushing, and a few radio ads---we could score 5%.

this is the reason I love Ron Paul people. You guys don't wait around for things to get done... YOU DO THEM.

If we can raise about 2k for radio ads, I'd be satisfied we could poll 5%.

We are ron paul's legion. We can raise more the 2k with a nationwide call for donations to make a huge dent in louisiana.
Especially if it would cost McCain a loss in what was supposed to be an easy win for him.

We should have a money bomb, but only if someone like AdamT would volunteer their time to run it.
Why AdamT? Are you familiar with his past work? Top Quality. Professional. Always gets the job done. Already has a PAC set up, he has done many projects.
And he should be stopping by my place in the middle of september while on the road.

I'd like to set our goal at around $100,000. Dare our people around the country to make a statement using Louisiana.
Hell, if we can pull off funding numbers like we did last year, we can get way more than 5%.

We should schedule a meeting with all that are interested to get all these ideas down and create a plan of action.

When do you think this will be finalized? I'd like to start getting the info out, but i don't want to do it until the slate is filed.
Do you know anyone who would be interested in being a representative for this state with the CFl who can attend the rally?

Is this a serious possibility?

Yeah. We have until Sept 2nd.
We have our electors.
We have our filing fee.
Now we just have to get them all to baton rouge before Sept. 2 at 5pm.
And ron paul/ barry goldwater,jr. will be on our ballot this november.
and McCain can suck the big one.
