Now for signs and precinct work! But wait! does Goldwater know he's being drafted into the VP position? Maybe we should keep it a secret from him, and if he wins we could show up at his door in Publisher's Clearinghouse style to let him know Louisiana voted him into the Vice Presidency.

Goldwater DOESNT know he is the VP, at least we dont think. We did not contact him about it or vice versa. There is an outside chance that Goldwater may not want this to happen....if so..we'll see what happens.

Around here, if given the choice between Paul/ Goldwater Jr and McCain/whoever, McCain won't do so well. Obama is winning the GOP here.

Great news. Anybody know of any other states like this, where one need only pay fees or collect a few signatures for ballot access (without the candidate agreeing to be on the ballot)? It would be interesting to know if Minnesota is like this. We could easily collect the 2,000 signatures needed from MN voters at the Rally for the Republic next week.
