I've given two donors your email address this morning (within 30 minutes of sending out a call for help!).
They asked me to send them a chipin link, but i don't have one.
You need to get this link up soon.

Do you know how to get it started? Do you have a paypal account?

If you only have 8 days left, you need to find someone with an established paypal account who can front the money. After starting a paypal account it takes about 5 days to validate your bank account, and then when you want to transfer funds out that is an additional 3-5 days.

If I was in LA I would just pay the whole thing out of my pocket. $500 isn't that much and shouldn't be hard to find.

Unfortunately, he is right about the paypal account. Any money that comes through that will be useless for about 5 days,long after I need it in-hand. If you want to donate,the easiest thing to do is to just mail me a check (made to cash so it doesnt have to "clear") or cash. If you need the mailing address,send me an email or PM and i'd be happy to supply it. If we can find someone to front the cash, your money will be returned or used for our efforts in another way (with you choosing which one)

I have a paypal account, but i'll be leaving friday morning for minnesota, i won't be around to help pay for it.
A chipin would be the quickest way to get the money. Plus we would know how close we are to our goal.
we can't let this fail. we need to be sure to have enough for filing.
