You support forced prayer in schools and basing laws on the bible?
I really don't understand. Since what interview, did Ron Paul come off to be like this?
I mean me personally... I'm a heterosexual male, and I believe in god, but not the religion that surrounds it. I believe most religions only exist to breed hatred amongst themselves, which is not if God existed, would want. But I digress.
I don't care what you believe in, and I don't care about your sexual orientations! Life, Liberty, and Happiness, that is the words of the Constitution, which Ron Paul
swears by. Even if he believes that school should be intertwined with religion, that is just his own belief, that he is not looking to super impose on anyone! I mean what about his campaign did people suddenly forget?
Isn't it his Constitutional right to have freedom of speech, and do what makes him happy? I don't necessarily agree with the whole prayer in school thing, but respect his decision, and respect the fact that he doesn't want to super impose that on anyone. I thought he wanted to limit government last time I checked.
Also, you guys have to remember that Paul is against Democracy. I think he might try to change it when he gets into office. He doesn't believe in it for the same reasons I don't believe in it, because it is 51% tyranny over the other 49%. In a republic you have unalienable rights that no one can take away from you. I don't think under paul we would ever be forced to "Pray".
I mean if I am wrong please explain to me why, but I think all of this criticism of Paul is baseless and unfounded like 3 times over.
