I think he just wants to see the speech. So do I, as far as that goes...

'tube or it didn't happen' was a reflection of the 2007-08 campaign where we had a lot of A+ contributors who had youtubes posted of everything.
it got to the point that it was expected to have a youtube, so if someone posted a thread without a youtube. it must not have happened. all other events had a youtube.

Yeah? There's a better way to ask for that then simply saying 'tube or it didn't happen.' Just because you weren't there in person to see it with your own two eyes doesn't mean it didn't happen. Nor does it mean that those who did see it are required to provide any video evidence of their attendace. If something doesn't have a YouTube link, then someone didn't record it. Doesn't mean it didn't happen.

It's a joke, man.

Back where he started. I first saw Ron live at the Hard Assets Metals and Minerals Conference in 2006. He was investing in some of the same miners I was.

The crowds weren't quite as big back then. ;) Ron was walking around like any other attendee. The speech seemed like practice for his future GOP Presidential run...

Notes from the 2006 S.F. Hard Asset Conference

Congressman Ron Paul talked about the issues facing the U.S. government and the ultimate need for our country to go back to a gold standard. He is truly one of the few people in Washington that deserves the support of all Americans.

He spoke about "Rethinking the Draft". His belief is that an all-volunteer military is not only sufficient for national defense, but also preferable. It is time to abolish the Selective Service System and resign military conscription to the dustbin of American history. Five hundred million dollars have been wasted on Selective Service since 1979, money that could have been returned to taxpayers or spent to improve the lives of our nation's veterans.

Ronald Reagan said it best: "The most fundamental objection to draft registration is moral." The notion of involuntary servitude, in whatever form, is simply incompatible with a free society.
