Ron Paul Ad: Newt Gingrich: Serial Hypocrisy

Just a reminder: YouTube does not update view numbers in realtime. So when you see "300 views" even though it's been on Drudge, it's not that YouTube is under-reporting views. It should update within 24 hours.

Yet tons of people are already claiming conspiracy in the comments. We need to go there and combat this so Ron Paul supporters don't look so nuts.

Can't wait for the next debate. This will be fodder.

"Ron, care to comment on the attack ad your campaign levied against former Speaker Gingrich?"

--- "Weeellll, y'know, people have said that my supporters are just a few hackers in their parents' basements with computers and youtube accounts, but no, really, I've had a hard time getting the media attention I deserve, and obviously so has Newt".

:D

A random comment from one of the several articles going around about the ad:

I did not know all this about Gingrich’s past. This is sickening. How are polls reporting him as in first place – voters need to watch this ad!!

can we get this ad on the air in iowa and hampshire for the next 4 weeks

Only if we donate. Maybe if more people would actually get behind the Tea Party Money Bomb. There is very little enthusiasm for it at this point.

let HotAir, well, be full of hot air. They will calm down and get in line like good little puppets when it is Paul vs. Obama. 'Til then we just need to constantly curb their uninformed enthusiasm among the many puppet candidates they purport to support.

No way. When Paul wins the nomination, a "republican" will announce a third party run, all in the name of unity. And thus if Obama wins, it will be Paul's fault for spamming the GOP, or something.

Why hit Gingrich on the Paul Ryan budget when Ron voted against it? And why hit Gingrich with siding with Pelosi when Ron has voted with her on numerous votes that Republicans would find offensive? The rest is beautiful, though.

I will never understand why the campaign is trying to paint Ron as a typical Republican; he's way too open to have this kind of thing turned around on him.

EDIT: If they're going to paint him as a typical Republican, at least don't attack other candidates for doing things that can be turned around on your own candidate.

I'm not enthusiastic about it because the campaign needs the money NOW. Dec 16th is too late for Iowa. People are just obsessed with getting a big total and are blind to the fact that the campaign is low on money when they need it, which is right now.

From hot air:

I trust Gingrich

The point on that part is not the opposition to the Budget. The point is that he flip flopped.

He is supporting global warming hysteria and flip-flopping.That's the point. Show me a vote where Ron Paul flip flopped to vote with Pelosi on global warming hysteria.

I will never understand why the campaign is trying to paint Ron as a typical Republican;

They don't paint Ron as anything. They destroy Gingrich. They don't mention Paul at all except what is required by law.

Ron Paul said supportive things about how Paul Ryan was at least trying to do SOMETHING, though, when asked. Ron voted against it because it didn't do the job, not because it 'went too far', as Gingrich thought.

We're able to see it that way, but most GOP basers won't. They'll see that Ron voted against the Ryan budget and get upset, and see that he has voted with Pelosi on some pet issues, and they'll get butthurt.
