Romney and Mccain are going into massive debt.

Technically, Romney only raised about 9 million from supporters.

He gave his campaign another 17 or so million of his own money.

Yeah, but Romney didn't really "raise" $26,928,432. He only raised $9 million and loaned himself the rest.

"Mitt Romney actually raised only $9.2 million from other people last quarter, less than half of Paul's haul. However, the former Massachusetts governor -- and if he keeps spending at this rate, the quite possibly former multimillionaire -- gave himself $18 million more of his own money last fall for a total of $27.2 million and $2.4 million cash on hand."
News shocker: Ron Paul was biggest GOP fundraiser last quarter

Claiming that Romney raised anything is a joke. Using your own money should not count and somebody should have made that clear when releasing the numbers

BullS*t Romney is jerkoff. He didn't raise that and if this is how they report things (which they will) I'll be rather peeved.

I really wouldn't worry about it...pretty much every time Romney is mentioned by any of the talking heads they say that when he needs money he just writes his campaign a check. Everyone jokes about his "fundraising" and it is commonly known that he is his largest donor.

I can't believe that there are still any of us that hope there will be any kind of fair or objective reporting in the MSM regarding the fundraising numbers. I expect the story to go like this:

"Longshot Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, from Texas, raised by far the most money from outside donors of any of the Republican candidates in Q4. Despite the fact that he has no real chance of winning his party's nomination, hasn't won a single primary and can't seem to convert his massive fundraising into votes, his kooky, fringe supporters continue to donate to his waning campaign."

"In other news today, John McCain eats a baby. His supporters, despite abhoring this kind of conduct, plan to turn out en masse to vote for him on Super Tuesday. John McCain's campaign stated the he is fervently against eating babies and friends of his like Jack Kemp etc. etc. etc."

Note, none of this is meant to be negative, but to show my frustration regarding the MSM, and the American Voter's in general for supporting candidates who's views are the complete opposite of their own.

HOW MUCH MONEY has MANCHURIAN MITT ROMNEY DONATED, uh, I mean BOUGHT, of his own campaign?

MANCHURIAN MITT's TOTAL PLEASE?

Romeny has donated or "loaned" his campaign 35 mil total and 18 mil in the 4th Qt.

Paul is the largest fundraiser for the 4th QT

Are there any rules that the millions that Romney loaned to his campaign has to be paid back?

Why is it that I can only donate $2300 to Ron Paul, but Romney can loan himself $18 million dollars? I guess I have John McCain to thank for that.

Romney goes in debt for 35 freaking millions dollars just for his own campaign and he dares to call himself a conservative. Think about what he will do when he gets hold of the U.S. credit card
