I for One will be Writing in Dr. Ron Paul in the next election as I did in the last two. I can think of know more honorable man. I will always wrote with my conscious regardless of the outcome.

I'd certainly support him if he ran. If he doesn't, and if Rand does, it will depend on Rand's record at the time. AT this point I'm expecting I'll be voting for Rand in 2016, but there are three years to go.

I noticed your new to a forum setting, from your other posts. Relax and just read for a bit, and remember to google RAND Paul. Don't tell me we need to get a blimp project up running again in 2016 to say Google RAND Paul, like we did Ron back in 08'. LMAO

Ron's probably going to suggest that you vote for Rand. Do whatever you think is right but I personally wouldn't waste the time and fuel to write someone in unless that person were running a write-in campaign.

You and I both know Ron and Carol cut ties with Rand years ago, there's no way Rand gets a recommendation that I can see

If his son is running, and you write in Ron Paul, you will be voting against Ron Paul. Ron Paul brought Rand into the world, and it is with him with whom we make our stand, to the joy of the father and the fulfillment in the son.

We won not elections with Ron Paul, but shared and communed in the hearts and minds of the awakening striving towards the rule of Law, justice, and liberty. This is greater then most Presidents ever achieve.

All made possible by the fact that Ron Paul believes in Christ as the Living Word and Savior of mankind.

I'd write in Ron Paul if there were no suitable candidates on the ballot. If there were, I'd prefer casting a vote that counts.

Yup. Couldn't agree more. People can vote for Rand, but he's the same shit from a different pile, in my opinion. Until another worthy candidate arises, I'll vote for Ron Paul.

You are being called a troll because you are either too obtuse or willingly ignorant to understand this simple truth. No matter. No one will fall for your bullshit.

Yeah but the thing that I really can't understand is why you guys are failing to recognize that Falcon and CajunCocoa and and others and I have independently reached this conclusion.

We don't have a clubhouse, we aren't dressing each other up in robes and making the new guys elephant walk while reciting the "I hate Rand" creed.
We're getting here on our own.

Doesn't that concern any of you?

I've talked to Cajuncocoa, she doesn't hate Rand. She has issues with some of Rand's policies (As do I) but she definitely does not hate him.

I guess it looks like the battle lines are drawn, and I'm right on the line. Some of us absolutely cannot stand Rand and don't want to see him get elected, while others will defend practically everything he does tooth and nail. I'm virtually alone on the "Middle Ground." Why can't I think Rand is vastly better than the other options, and want to support him, while still being sharply critical of certain actions he takes? It seems like nobody thinks anywhere close to that, its "Either with him or against him" crap that is more fitting of neo-fascists like GWB than the liberty movement.

If you genuinely agreed with Rand Paul on everything, that would be fine, but I don't think ANYONE here (Even Falcon, probably) is even close to Rand Paul when it comes to libertarianism. All of us are way more hardcore than Rand is. Of course, Rand's positions seem radical in the current political climate, but compared to us, he's definitely a lot more moderate. NOBODY here agrees with Rand 100%. What's wrong with calling him out when he's wrong?
