I rode my bike 20+ miles a couple of times lately and that is already enough to bring me to the obvious epiphany in the thread title.

RON PAUL 2016!!!

It was difficult to get him to run in '08. Nigh impossible getting him to run this year. It's Ron Paul 2012 or bust, I think.

He'll be way too old to run by then, but I expect we haven't heard the last of Ron Paul, no matter the outcome this time. He just can't keep his mouth shut while watching our country slip away from us, thank Goodness!

I also expect his predictions to come back and haunt us for a long time if we don't change the course we're on.

No, but barring some amazing super candidate running, I'll be writing in RP on every election until I'm dead.

Interesting...If he'll be too old then, he'd be too old for re-election if he won this time-yet I've always thought people here wanted RP for 2 terms.

I would back Ron Paul at 90. But I will be fall out of my chair astonished if he will run, if only because he really doesn't believe it is about him. I wasn't sure he'd run for a second term either. His budget would balance in three years, within his first term, if he got it.

I, too, would back him at 90...100 even. But the man deserves to retire and just enjoy life. He's given us 30+ years, and I am grateful.

I always figured Dr. Paul to be a one term President. With a great VP, that would be enough for me. His plan would set us on the right course. The hardest part is taking that first step.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
