As far as I'm aware, the Rand Paul campaign hasn't aired any during the last couple months unlike almost every other serious contender, which is a major disadvantage. The only reason I can proffer is that this is due to lack of campaign funds, which is really quite sad. For a reminder.. these are some of the ads the Ron Paul Campaign ran in 2012 that are still up on the campaigns youtube channel.

False dilemma ad space is already filled.

tv ads don't help, the best they offer in this election cycle is the press cycle. His super pac bought up ad space that was released when bush dumped TV ad time to pay for ground organization in Iowa

One comment I had from someone I called in Iowa, was where is the information/printed material on Rand...they had received stuff form others. They didn't know Rand was still running, were excited to hear he was, going to the caucus, and good chance he will vote for Rand., now that he knows he is still running.

Those really were amazing ads. I've been wondering the same thing.

With most people not having made up their minds, I think the debate Thursday will be the best ad by far. No Trump, I hope, so no distractions. Lets talk policy...lets talk credibility...see if the others can hang with our boy. Bet they cant. We will see who is still running tomorrow night.

They reserved ad time in Iowa over the summer, one of the few campaigns who were able to do so. When the Bush campaign cancelled their Iowa slots, they picked up some of that, but so did Rubio's campaign.

ive never seen any of those... i just watched 2 of them and they were great

I've been wondering the same thing. The thing is that the stupid ass polls have really hurt Rand's donations. Fortunately the ads won't matter much in the first contest so when Rand exceeds expectations there, his donations will pick up, and he'll have the money to continue to compete in the other states. As far as NH is concerned, they're hoping their momentum from Iowa can help them there. But yeah, I've been concerned about the fact that there have been no ads in NH, where I do think they matter.

He will get a few million in donations next week after he wins Iowa.

Crossing our fingers!! W.P.S.!

You guys remember all those AMAZING Vote for Rand ads??? Those actually have been sent individually to identified (37,700) supporters (Strong, likely, maybe) in Iowa! CAV spent 1 million on those leading up to the caucus and those ads are more powerful than a simple TV ad because they a based on the voter's wants. In this way, Rand has better ads than Ron did. TV ads are okay, however, money is being better spent I promise!

tv ads matter for Rand right now. Probably less than half of the votes Ron received were from liberty minded people. Rand Paul may lock up the liberty vote but he needs more than that.

Reserved time != ads. It should but it doesn't... At least as far as I am aware The closest thing the Paul campaign released to a tv ad this month, was the audit the ted video. And the ad that purple pac is airing is god awful.

Yeah he also needs to pay people to run his huge campaign in Iowa to make sure people show up to caucus and call people. The people in Iowa are more efficient and we will compare dollars to donuts after the votes are counted you can compare his money spent per vote to any of the other candidates spending more money on ads.

Yeah whoever was responsible for them, you'd think the Paul campaign would have brought them on board. I think the Paul campaign in many respects has better people the Ron's. but this is one strange incongruity.
