It isn't democratic at all to have a third party candidate on the ballot that could spoil the election, so I can see why either major party would want to get rid of them or try to keep them if it can help them.

Plurality voting is a bad voting system. Range voting (what the Olympics uses) and reweighted range voting (the proportional representation form of RV) are better.

The Republican Establishment in Pennsylvania is trying to stifle all voices for Liberty in the November Election. They’ve eliminated the Constitution Party and the Libertarian Party is going into the second week of defending their petition for Gary Johnson. The Libertarians turned in nearly 50,000 signatures and the Republicans sued claiming only 10% were valid. The Republicans are losing and the Libertarians have enough signatures. But the defense is grinding into week 2 and the Libertarians have to produce a minimum of 20 people every day. And this is what it comes down to, if the Libertarians have enough people every day and keep grinding through the line by line challenge there will be a pro-liberty candidate on the ballot in November.

This is the week before a holiday where many people have standing vacation plans. Many of the Libertarian Party volunteers can’t take more days off from work.

Don’t let the big money Republican Establishment steal your vote. The proceeding is taking place at the Philadelphia Board of Elections at Delaware and Spring Garden starting at 8:30 am Monday 8/27. Please take just 1 day off from work this week to lend a hand. Contact [masked].
