Ya know, all the issues aside, I was really sickened about how Romney's religion was exploited and constantly brought into question. Huckabee could go into great detail about this as his campaign was probably THE biggest culprit of this. Floating cross/"you want a candidate who shares you're values" anyone? Romney has flipped on the issues and his "plastic" style leaves me with little trust in him, but that's sort of okay, because what he was campaigning on was pretty disturbing ("Double Guantanamo!") You would never find me putting heart and soul into Romney's candidacy, but I think there might be a little bit in him deep down, that truly knows that the platform of Liberty and the Constitution is the right one, no matter what he is forced to say in these debates. I mean if it wasn't for the Liberty and the Constitution, how could the founders of the Mormon religion be allowed to practice their beliefs and even have their sovereign state? As far as I can tell, it's the strong central government and total lack of respect for the 10th Amendment which prohibits Mormons from polygamy, and I say that with all due respect to Mormon beliefs.
