Romney Staff Supporting Paul

If you were planning on voting for Romney in an upcoming election, the only choice now is Ron Paul. He is the conservative's choice for the nominee.

I believe Romney may throw in behind McCain, to get some job, but I hope he holds true to his campaign retoric about McCain being too far to the left. I think he blames Huckabee for splitting the moderate to conservative vote. It isn't too far fetched that he would endorse Paul.

Romney should endorse Paul. I like to dream

Even better... he should finance his campaign.

Jokes aside- I always found Romney the least offensive of the Neo-Con approved candidates. I think he got kind of a bad rap on occasion... and had to "confront" his Mormon "issue" way too much. Rather shameful actually.

I do think he will line-up behind McCain.... but for the sole purpose of watching McCain go down in flames in '08. I'm sure he's hoping that the GOP establishment will remember him as a "good soldier" for pulling out when he did, and will let him be first in line to go after Obama or Clinton in 2012.

Romney publically stated that he did not want to go all out on attacking McCain as it would discredit him (McCain) for the general election and guarantee a Democrat in the White House.

People who think Romney would even entertain the idea of endorsing Ron Paul are in absolute dreamland with no understanding of reality.

Ya know, all the issues aside, I was really sickened about how Romney's religion was exploited and constantly brought into question. Huckabee could go into great detail about this as his campaign was probably THE biggest culprit of this. Floating cross/"you want a candidate who shares you're values" anyone? Romney has flipped on the issues and his "plastic" style leaves me with little trust in him, but that's sort of okay, because what he was campaigning on was pretty disturbing ("Double Guantanamo!") You would never find me putting heart and soul into Romney's candidacy, but I think there might be a little bit in him deep down, that truly knows that the platform of Liberty and the Constitution is the right one, no matter what he is forced to say in these debates. I mean if it wasn't for the Liberty and the Constitution, how could the founders of the Mormon religion be allowed to practice their beliefs and even have their sovereign state? As far as I can tell, it's the strong central government and total lack of respect for the 10th Amendment which prohibits Mormons from polygamy, and I say that with all due respect to Mormon beliefs.

Ron Paul did defend Romney several times on his religion...and stated he felt he was being unfairly becuase of it.

"There will be “lots of heartbroken virgins in Salt Lake City,” quipped Attention Deficit Democracy author Jim Bovard."

LOL

Guy's don't fall prey to this B.S. Stay focused. My suggestion is the the District Leader in DC start to work with HQ to coordinate info packets for all future calendar events. Our District Leaders are power houses in our network, there is nothing these guys won't try to achieve.

But the folks that support Romney have to decide if they have the stomach to support McCain.
I believe they cannot. McCain is a monster and LDS know this....we all know this
