Romney, Paul campaigns allege misconduct in Mo. caucus county (Updated)

It occurs to me from Santorum's comment that he is truly limited mentally. Either that, or his campaign is 'protecting him' from information about St Charles.

Not to mention the egregious assault of grammar in which it was issued. To the public. Jesus.

I'm glad this was pressed and filed upon by both campaigns.. it was one of our swing CD caucus results that we did not have solid numbers on. There is also a formal contention that has been placed on Christian County.

What does it say? I can't access the link at work...
Out of Missouri, another story that will add to speculation about a Romney-Paul alliance:

The campaigns for Mitt Romney and Ron Paul — who, at many Missouri caucus sites, worked in tandem — have prepared a joint complaint alleging "serious and prejudicial misconduct" at the March 17 gathering in Jefferson County.

Both campaigns have asked that the state party refuse to recognize the delegates elected at the county caucus, who, they say, are loyal to GOP rival Rick Santorum.

"They intentionally tried to alter the outcome of the caucus with dirty tricks," said Romney spokesman Ryan Williams. "It's clearly an egregious example of intentional misconduct from Santorum supporters."

The complaint, mailed to the state party this week, alleges that Santorum supporters forced a delay at the caucus when they realized they did not have the numbers the control the outcome.

That delay, according to the complaint, was caused by the "intentional removal" of registration documents needed to conduct caucus business.

"Indeed," the complaint says, "the supporters of Rick Santorum held the caucus hostage until they got enough people to leave so they could achieve the result they desired."

UPDATE: Santorum responds to the Romney/Paul complaint, via POLITICO's Ginger Gibson:

Oh that's great. Well you them they had to bring in a helicopter in because of his Shenanigans in Missouri. A SWAT team had to come in to break up a fight that he started.

Sorry if the formatting is messy from cut and paste.

???I thought we won that county?80%paul romney 20%?Thats what I heard....we didnt?

Misconstruction: Jackson vs. Jefferson

You are thinking of Jackson which we did overwhelmingly win.. Jefferson the entire Ron Paul slate was thrown out because the guy who presented the Slate had stepped outside during the caucus at one point.

I can't decipher what the Santorum campaign was actually trying to say. I know we have come to expect their messages to be garbled, but the lack of proofreading on something going out to the public makes me shake my head. No learning from the folks in that quarter. If Santorum wins the nomination, what a trainwreck that's going to be.

I think this was a direct, verbal quote from Rick Santorum himself (perhaps with a typo?):

This is hilarious. Do the "his" and "he" refer to Ron Paul? Ron Paul started a fight that required a SWAT team? ROFL.

Maybe "his" refers to Romney and "he" refers to Paul? Or vice versa? Or perhaps Rick has forgotten that he's running against Romney as well.. that would at least explain his adherents fixation on teaming with Willards people despite it being in their own best interests to do otherwise  ;)

I am not suprised. He always twists things. Just like with Euthanasia in Netherlands the other day.

This is how he actually sounds if you just listen to him without your mind filling in all the correct words/grammar for yourself.
