Romney: As President I'll Need No Permission to go to War with Iran (Video)

As President I'll Need No Permission to go to War

Every president of everywhere?

Then again some groups have constitutions.

A quick search shows Jimmy Carter only did the Iran hostage rescue attempt.

I remember that. I figured we should have put together a private group to make a rescue.

It should have been no problem to get a good rally together for a diversion.

So, then ... at least 30+ years and 5 presidents ago ... and that's only if we don't count Operation Eagle Claw as an unconstitutional "military action" (I would count it as unconstitutional, myself - but it could reasonably be argued either way).

It matters not who the president is now whether it be Obama or Romney. War with Iran is inevitable. It will also be the start of the next world war with our allies facing off against emerging market economy countries.

I hate to say it but with the sheep out there they might actually like Romney saying this.

"I don't believe, if I'm president, that we need a war powers approval or a special authorization for military force. The President has that capacity now."

I didn't think it was possible to dislike Romney more than I already do, but after watching this I do dislike him more. If I thought Obama would keep us out of another war, which undoubtedly would lead to WW3, then I would even consider voting for him. But Obama has given no indication that he would not also attack Iran other than statements meant to appease his base during this election.

You are probably correct, but nevertheless I am going to everything I can to try to wake people up and to stop this planned war.

No Mitt, The President does not have that power now. The President is assuming power he doesn't have just like the Supreme Court has been doing for the last 200 years. Just like you proved to us this election, Mitt, the mafia in charge of our government are illegitimate actors.

'I do solemnly that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend those portions of the Constitution of the United States which the pollsters indicate we have not yet convinced the public are outdated, anachronistic, or forgettable enough for them to forget they're in there.'

So help me God.

Its been this way since WW2. As liberty becomes more popular tyranny becomes more naked.
