So why not just have a paul vs newt debate? that way paul can have a crapload of speaking time.. FOR FREE. Hell. They dont even have to attack each other. They can attack Romney and/or Santorum from the debates and some people will watch it.

Dude, cmon, do you honestly think the MSM and the backstabbing, Pro-IL, war mongering, debate controlling sponsors are going to allow Ron Paul that much air time? It's not gonna happen. If Mitt bows out, there won't be a 'debate', all there is to it. They already hate the fact he was still around for the last 6 of them and they were forced to cover him.
These debates are a crock of shit and not what they should be at all. They are pure theatrics and fluff, no better than watching some crap reality show. Ffs, save for Ron, it's mostly shit flinging with Mitt and Newt for 15mins a pop, or Newt attacking the moderators. And sometimes they do more harm than good for us.
And the sponsors are usually always going to be pro establishment NWO/MIC/AIPAC/WALL ST lovers, like Heritage, AEI, GE, etc. It's a joke. All of these sponsors are in bed with the war machine of global imperialism and economic plunder. They all despise Ron to the core, and pull the strings for these 'debates' in how he will questioned, ignored, etc. They are all too lopsided for Ron right out of the gate.
Then again though, i dont blame the strategy Mitt and the others are going with. They all are aware how phony and full of shit they are, the baggage they have, how easily they can screw up in a debate and don't want to ruin their chances being so close to ST. Rick is lighting it up right now, leading all over the place, and this is no different than being a defendant at a trial, and taking the risk of testifying when your chances look good to be acquitted.
