That helped to contribute to the party divisions we see today- one cannot support anything the other party does/ supports or it is seen as weakness. Everything must be opposed. The goal is not to move the country ahead but stop the other party from doing anything- no matter how good it may be.

He will only be convicted if the House votes to impeach and the Senate finds him guilty after their hearings. Right now they are looking into whether or not he asked a foreign country to help him in an election by asking them to dig up dirt on a political rival which is in violation of election laws.
