haha it took you guys awhile, but finally this great muscian is getting some rep from America where he lives. He gave up music in the 70s because he wasn't getting anywhere and did construction work without realizing he was very famous in South Africa. It started with our army guys sick of the wars etc in Africa and listened to anti-establishment songs and his record was passed around and he became famous. Unfortunetly some record label in America screwed him over and never gave him a dime from the sales of his record half way around the world.
Many South Africans thought he had died, but 3 guys managed to track him down and found him doing hard labour on a construction site and brought him over to South Africa where he played to thousands of poeple.
he is 70 now so he has lost a bit of his mojo, but great to hear him getting some rep.
here some of his more famous ones
this is recent on letterman show, remember he is 70
