Of course this will be used for evil intent at some point.

I hope this isn't a legitimate excuse not to invent something; anything invented, no matter how basic, advanced, manual, or mechanized can be used for evil.

Certainly true. But I can imagine a similar device designed solely for State-sanctioned murder. There are drones already that can do housework and such...but the predator-type drones are made exclusively for murdering and spying. /ramble
