I'm new to this particular thread; is there an email or chip in to donate to for this project?
I've added purchasing instructions to the top post.

I described the nature of the transaction to the PayPal customer service rep (a donation for a volunteer political campaign project) and she said that "Personal Transfer" was appropriate.
Knock yourself out then. But I can absolutely assure you that the Paypal rep is wrong. Also, even though you just told them you're collecting for a project using a personal account. don't be surprised to find your account suspended and you locked out of the access to your funds once their computer flags you for suspicious behavior.

Can you let me know if you just got this?

My wife just confirmed what you say. I've withdrawn the entire balance to my bank account (though I guess it isn't really safe until it reaches my bank account in 3-4 business days). I guess as long as I keep withdrawing each donation immediately, there isn't a huge risk if PayPal decides to shut me down.
It's amazing to me your effort doesn't have $3000+ instead of $355...what you're doing could very well win us the Ames Straw Poll and make Dr. Paul the frontrunner for the first time ever.Updated with $355 in cash. I'll wait until I have $600 cash before making another deposit at Dynamic Interactive so that I get the 14% discount on call charges. Can we get it by 5pm Pacific so I can have another big day? (305 Ron Paul supporters identified yesterday.)

It has $355 cash on hand. I've raised and spent much more than that. But yeah, I'm surprised there aren't more donors.
Weren't you just saying the other day you think people that hadn't maxed out to the official campaign and were eligible to donate to the official campaign to donate to the them instead? if so, why the surprise?
I would have thought the news of this project's success would spread a bit more than it has and bring more maxed-out donors out of lurking.
