In the spirit of the original "Ron Paul Can Win" article (now shared and liked an astonishing 42,000 times on Facebook alone!)... about the paradigm shift we're witnessing in US politics with the rise of Ron Paul, here's the follow-up, just published by the Huff Po.

Paradigm Lost: Why the Revolution Has Not Been Televised"

The very fact that the prevailing paradigm cannot accommodate the cultural and political changes in the USA, or even the GOP, is evidence that those changes are radical enough to establish a new one.

Eventually, when the gap between what is so and what everyone "knows" becomes too large, it becomes impossible to carry on everyday life without seeing it, admitting it, and dealing with it. That point may finally be in sight.

Way to use your gift for good!

And I agree. Once you listen to reason, the rest just sound so 'off'.

That was one of the most astounding articles I've read in some time!

I think you have pegged exactly what is going on. Great job! Not only do you have a knack for writing, you have a great awareness of the world around you!

This also explains why Ron Paul supporters are written off as "potheads that just want their drugs", "naive college kids with no responsibilities", or "internet addicts living in their parents' basements".

It helps them explain something that doesn't fit their worldview. It's intellectual laziness.

This.

As much as I respect human psychology and I do. I believe we as humans are driven to act by our own psychology. However I think this article is mostly propaganda to explain why large organized "media" operations with consciousness and determination are ignoring the political victories of their ideologically opponents. The idea proffered by the author of this article that there is no organize effort to ignore Paul is psycho - bable.

bump.

That is a great piece. I hadn't seen it until Doherty linked to it today in his roundup.
