I am new here, and have been following Ron Paul for years (like I imagine most of you have).

One of the reasons I joined this site was to try and bring attention to Robert D. Steele, a book reviewer on Amazon.com. I've been dropping him comments about Dr. Paul for a while now, and after the FOX debate Steele has had some very supportive things to say in his book reviews, and is very receptive about Dr. Paul (as well as being receptive in general, he definitely what I would call "open-minded"). IMO Robert D. Steele is serious business.

A lot of people read Steele's book reviews. He is the #1 reviewer of non-fiction at amazon.com and #48 overall, with 23,278 helpful votes. He has over 900 non-fiction reviews and has read over 3,000 books related to current affairs from all over the spectrum (from Chomsky to Webb to Woodward to Alex Jones). In the past he has read and reviewed ALL of the books on Ron Paul's reading list on amazon. He was in the CIA for something like 30 years as a clandestine case officer, and feels now that he was part of the "fake" CIA, good intentioned schmoes who never get to do a lick of real "spy work", but act as an unknowing front for more insidious operations (read his review of Gary Webb's "Dark Alliance: The CIA, the Contras, and the Crack Cocaine Explosion " and the links at the bottom for more information). He is big into open source intelligence and complete intelligence reform, the freedom of the Net, restoring the republic, and other stuff. He is a strong supporter of Transpartisanship and the Dignitarian Movement.

After reading literally hundreds of blogs and stories regarding this and that, Steele seems to put the pieces together regarding "the big picture" better and more thoroughly than (or at least as good as) anyone else, and provides links at the end of his reviews to connect everything (including further reading like if a book doesn't quite connect all the dots or contradicts, he provides the links to show it). Read his reviews to see what I mean, a recent nugget being his review of Escaping the Matrix (in which he mentions Paul and agrees with him regarding the state).

For all the "truthers" out there who believe in the "CIA did it/inside job" conspiracy, read his review of " 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA" (the first review on the page) for the most complete and logical overview of what really happened on 9/11 that I've ever seen or read from anyone (yes, Steele believes that Bin Laden did it). There are corrupt government officials and spies outside of the US/CIA/FBI as well as inside it. His reviews are EXTREMELY interesting. Read them and if you like them bump them. Make comments, he is good about replying and is a straight shooter. He has recognized the grass roots support for Paul and the smearing by the MSM, he has personal contacts with many influential people and could be very useful in spreading Paul's message while basically coming to the same conclusion as Paul regarding 9/11 (i.e. it needs to be properly investigated before any hard conclusions can be drawn).
