RNC refuses to seat Maine delegation unless they agree to "compromise"

We are blessed here in Maine to have a firm, principled, and liberty-loving National Delegation to the Convention in Tampa. I am proud to be apart of the movement and proud to support them. The fight will continue on!
 
Why the hell are they so worried? We don't have 1,144 delegates. Not even close. On the first ballot Romney does.
They've already "won"

Do they honestly believe that going to these lengths to stop delegates will completely shut us up?
 
Rand Paul needs to drive his ass up there and put Charlie Webster and the RINOs in their place...oh thats right, Rand endorsed Romney. Never Mind.

Or someone from the campaign. I think your Rand comment was funny however it isn't his job.

I really think they are afraid for all of the delegates to hear Ron speak un-edited.

Yep, that and it gives him, Ron, recognition at the RNC. It would be blasphemy to the PTB for him to speak about liberty and freedom in the real sense.

But that's not what Republicans want. If that's truly what they wanted Ron would've won in the primaries.
There's no way some 600 delegates who would vote Romney would just change their minds after hearing Ron speak.

No, the chances are vanishingly slim. However, most voters don't even participate in the primary, but right around at the convention they start paying attention. They will see the one who got away and hear his ideas, and go 'WTF? How did we end up with ROMNEY??' And perhaps in the future they will know they need to get involved earlier.

And there is always the possibility SOMETHING will happen, no matter how unlikely, until the convention is over.

Was Iowa fair? We were winning until the media smeared Ron as a "racist" a week and a bit before the primary. If we won that, we DEFINITELY could have won New Hampshire. So many other states' GOP played dirty tricks on us. We've been facing attacks on all sides after they finally couldn't ignore us. No-one else had treatment so bad from the entire establishment - and you think it's the people who didn't want us?

No, if we won Iowa the media would've done exactly what they said they were going to do and discredit Iowa.

I agree if Ron had gotten fair treatment or maybe even God-like treatment for a day or two like Santorum got, then maybe we would've had a chance...but we knew that wasn't going to happen from the get-go.

People are sheep and they voted in the direction they were herded to go...and for that reason, YES, the people don't want us. Because the people don't know what they want...they just know that they need to be told what to want.

Then why post that that is not what the people want?
If they haven't really got to hear all of the candidates with equal fair treatment, then why run in circles in your mind so much about it?

write this down:

1. Ron was excluded over and over by media even when getting 2nd within 200 votes.
2. Ron was downplayed as a kook by the media while praising others that did have kooky ideas.
3. The majority of Amercians are misinformed by that same media
4. That's why we have the system we have, republic with delegates/representatives.

Now, what's the question? Refer back to 1 thru 4.
