It's not a surprise that Cruz could have come in second, and most of the people that voted for him probably have Rand as a second choice so it's not the worst outcome. But still... stay classy Cruz campaign.

My question,too.If he is so anti-establishment, where is the money coming from? He is a huge phony. I said from the start he is in the race to take out Rand. He is a real slime ball.

Good results, especially because Cruz acts as sort of a buffer between Rand and the rest, so the media can't call out "rabbit fanaticism" too much.

In all seriousness, Cruz is doubling down on taking the libertarian vote and he will deploy any tactic to split us up as much as he can. He knows after this election is over, he has no chance with the liberty movement ever again. The desperate tactics will only get worse from here on out.

It should now be common knowledge if campaigns are bussing people into straw polls that there should always be someone filming these events and asking people why they're there.

I don't get this...WAPO's take was the exact opposite and frankly more believable. I thought The Blaze was better than that.

Not anymore. Glenn Beck has also been trashing Rand on the radio saying that Rand has been bashing Ted Cruz and that Rand's campaign is done. The Glenn Beck switch is on as now instead of talking up mostly Rand and Cruz, he's switched to talking up Rubio, Fiorina, and Jindal. Still with a good helping of Cruz though.

Agree. That is why we need Huckabee and Santorum to stay in the race until after Iowa so they can pull the social conservatives away from Trump and Cruz. Rand can win Iowa with as small as 20% of the vote if the establishment vote gets split enough.
