Help Win a Congressional Seat for Liberty Tomorrow

RLC endorsee Kerry Bentivolio is in a unique situation in his run for Congress in Michigan's 11th district. The incumbent he was challenging, Thadeus McCotter, failed to qualify for the ballot. But establishment Republicans in Michigan really don't want a champion of liberty like Kerry to get the party nomination so they are putting a lot of money and effort into a write-in challenge in the primary.

We need to stop them. Don't let them do to Kerry what they did to Joe Miller in Alaska. Write-in campaigns are rife with fraud and error and we need to make sure that Kerry gets a solid win, because we need every pro-liberty voice we can get in Congress.

The primary vote is on Tuesday. You can help by making last minute get out the vote calls today, even if you are not in Michigan. You can call from home on any phone. To help, just go to http://www.CallforKerry.com

Got the same email but I thought they endorsed him months ago.

I'm pretty sure the RLC endorsed him quite a while back.

Freedomworks endorsed him about the day after the PAC said it was giving him hundreds of thousands, but I don't remember seeing anything about RLC. Still, you could be right.

I checked their endorsement page about three weeks ago, and Kerry Bentivolio was already endorsed then. They were pretty busy with Ted Cruz, steve Stockman, and Texas...so they didn't have a lot of time or money to publicly promote Mr. Bentivolio.

I'm just pissed at their people coming here and shilling for their organization as if all their candidates should be our candidates -- when some of their chapters endorsed others over Ron, and some of their candidates are seriously questionable. In 2008 they endorsed MCCAIN over Ron, I believe. There is overlap, but sometimes I feel like they take on our candidates AFTER our candidates get enough of our support, in order to coopt US. I didn't really follow it in this particular case, though.

In their defense, they have endorsed a lot of liberty candidates. They endorsed Ron Paul this year for President. They have endorsed Justin Amash, Kerry Bentivolio, and Thomas Massie among several others. While you may not agree with everything and everyone they endorse, I believe that they are strong supporters of the liberty movement.

They're cool as long as they have nothing to do with Eric Dondero.

Nalle endorsed over Ron in Texas as well, and look at some of the candidates. I don't have a problem with fellow travelors and working with them, I only have a problem with them here implying they ARE us and our people should just fold into their organization.

better late then never I suppose. amazing how the RLC jumps in after big money does.
The Liberty For All Super PAC has coattails. Once they jump in the water all these other organizations feel its safe to do the same. That's one of the big benefits from that PAC beyond the initial cash injection.
