BTW: My gut reaction to this was that if this was my son (You can really fill in the blank here for yourself.) My dad made a valid point about Christians not being supposed to take revenge... but man this ticks me off. And these types of cops are exactly what the 2nd amendment was created for. Judge Nap said it when he said "The 2nd amendment wasn't given to us so we could shoot deer, it was given so we could shoot tyrants." Dead on judge.

The Lord says vengeance is his, I won't cry a tear if it comes soon...

I think this ticks me off even more because I empathize with not being able to read social cues (I still can't) and not having friends in school (Which I've experienced before), in addition to having AS. Torture is wrong, but this kind of cop is the kind of person I sometimes sinfully wish it on.

BTW: If I were the governor of this state, I would pardon whoever gave him the penalty that he deserves.

This is pretty shitty, the cops should have some sort of rule against targeting individuals who aren't all there. No way this cop didn't know this kid was special ed.

That's not true. There is legal recourse in this country and it's easily accessible. If you file a lawsuit against the police, you will get your day in court and they will appear.

Now say you get your way and the police are abolished. You now have heavily armed private security forces. Who is going to hold them accountable for wrong doing? You have nobody to bring them into the court system. Are you going to trust bands of mercenaries to self police and make themselves available to the courts jurisdiction? Society will devolve rapidly.

This police department will get sued, just like in every abuse story posted on these forums (sarcasm), all is well with the world. Of course that is punishing tax payers.

Generally people that are losing control are the ones getting busted. Maybe it is a sign you need to step back.

This story is so fucked up on so many levels that I doubt even Hitler would have done this to a special needs Jewish teenager. Maybe that should be a meme: a picture of Hitler with a caption something along the lines of, "That's just wrong!"

That's disugsting. Not sure I can say one is worse than the other (Although I may be biased because I have Asperger's and can't read social cues for crap either) but both of them are despicable excuses for human beings... Calling them "pigs" would probably be offensive to actual pigs...

At least pigs provide something to society (ie applewood smoked bacon). Cops provide nothing except terror to average joe public.
