As of today, what would you rate the official campaign? And what do you think they should / could improve on or do to help?

I would give them an 8 so far. They have a good ground game built in Iowa and NH, they are listening to the grassroots concerns, and have some great people working for them. Their Social Media needs ALOT of work though.

I won't rate them, but I think they REALLY need to get that social media guy in to do a set up of the social media sites under the guidance of whomever controls that there, of course. The idea that Bachmann's facebook should have more likes is insulting to Ron Paul's supporters.

(sorry, Indiana, went to edit mine, got confused by the avatars and started to edit yours. Changed it back, though.)

8- I think the campaign is doing fine. Support seems to be picking up, we have a solid infrastructure in Iowa and NH.

My only critique is social media (the facebook page).

LOL! I guess that is kind of my fault, due to the fact I got the same avatar as yours. They REALLY need to get a new social media director.

10. They have done some great things. I would probably give them a 9.9 though because I'd like to see the ticker up for at least half of each month. If they can do it for 5 days, why not 10 or 15?

I gave them a 6 only because they're finally just starting to turn this campaign around. They've made some good hires recently and appear to be trying to define their message. The ultimate test will be Ron's performances in the upcoming debates. If he can improve on those then the campaign will have done an excellent job.

Well, if poll numbers are a reflection of how a campaign is doing, then they're not doing a very good job. We're stuck in the mud in single digits and not showing any signs of moving out of there. Meanwhile, we got all these clowns polling ahead of us who haven't even jumped in the race...they could run away with it anytime they decide to enter. Right now, my sole hope rests on a great result in Ames.

I'm giving them an 8. It seems liek they've got the whole timing of things down. They're capitalizing on the grassroots. They've got Paul on TV constantly. He's getting way more exposure than last time and he's being ridiculed a whole lot less.

Don't sweat the poll numbers... They will fluctuate, but if you notice, Paul's support doesn't. That's an incredibly good sign.

The only reason I'm deducting points is because I think the fundraising could be better on the corporate end. And I would like to see more of a push to acquire support from the other camps. Paul's doing a nice job of it, but the campaign seems to be lagging a bit. When Cain went down, Paul should have gone up. When Trump blew out, Paul should have gained some of that support.

We'll have to see what happens when Bachman falters. The campaign really needs to capitalize on this - it may be the last chance. Timing is everything.

The poll numbers aren't fluctuating. They're steady around 6 percent. Look at this RCP average of polls over the past few weeks. It shows Dr. Paul stuck at 6 percent, and the Quinnipiac poll confirms that. We don't need to just hold the support we have, we need to make gains.

It's looking more and more like Perry will be getting in soon, and when Bachmann blows up, the risk is that a lot of her support goes to him.

You obviously haven't seen the latest Iowa poll numbers have you?

8... they are making the right moves, getting endorsements, organizing and on top of most things. It's a night and day difference from last time. I'm waiting for them to blow my socks off so I can rate 10... :)

Which numbers are you referring to? These? Honestly, those don't hearten me much. Romney's not even making an effort in Iowa and he's still ahead of us 4 weeks out from the Ames Straw Poll. If that's the way it plays out on Aug. 13th, it won't be a good thing.

I think some candidates have media wind under their wings and some have to fight the media winds. Ours definitely falls into the latter category because he doesn't favor special interests at all - including the ones they like. So I don't think it is fair to go by polls. What they do in response is fair to judge, however, and I think we definitely do that. You know, when I see other supporter forums for other candidates and the cheerleading for how great their candidate always is, all I can say is I hope Ron has a thick skin, being saddled with us....

They're still dropping the ball on important things. For example: not using Facebook to send people over to the money bomb page and drastically increase its 'like' total.

I'm a pretty positive member of this forum. But we're reaching a crucial point in this campaign. Something has to happen soon to put us in the top tier of serious candidates, and I see any number of things coming up that puts that at risk. The campaign has to be running on all cylinders now, and they're not doing that. To be pollyanna-ish isn't doing anyone a service.

Keep an eye on tomorrow's Morning Score section of Politico.com for some BIG news about the Ron Paul campaign!!!!

Oh god... not more of this. Cross posting the same information all through the forum... not attributing the source (RPs facebook page) so it sounds like some sort of secret 'insider' information.

"The Lesion" strikes again... please give it a rest... and stick to the topic of the thread.
