Is a brokered convention still possible? It may be if the LFRP lawsuit is a success. I just saw this over at the Daily Paul...

For those of you discouraged by today's results in Nebraska, I would like to share some very interesting developments with you about the Delegates/Alternates V. The RNC Lawsuit.

I quote from Richard Gilbert:

"Our plan is working! I have confirmed Rick Santorum will inform his delegates he is following our case and he will re-enter the race if the Judge rules our way. Santorum will peel votes from Romney and help pull Romney down below 1144 helping to blaze the trail for Dr Paul to takeover the convention!"

Taken from the facebook group located at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/LawyersforRonPaul/

He also tweeted: "Our Plan is working very well. Rick Santorum is writing to his delegates. He is following our case and will re-enter the race if we win"

Which can be found here about half way down the page: https://twitter.com/USA_Free_Press

So, I ask you to not be discouraged today, but rather to keep fighting. Let's put some pressure on the judge to make the right decision and not let evil and corruption prevail. Together we can do great things!

Very doubtful. Santorum is a "team player". He dropped out when told for favorite son status in the next campaign. Just like Romney did for McCain.

Wouldn't Santorum re-entering just shave off a very small segment of Romney's delegates? How would that hurt us?

Hopefully by Tampa Obama's network will have destroyed Romney to the point that all the delegates are gun shy

The guy that posted the thread on the Daily Paul posted this picture...

...and said that he's trying to obtain some proof from Richard on how he knows this about Santorum. Not sure if he'll get any response. I'm still not even sure Richard is one of us. All we can do is hope that he is I guess.

I'm not sure I see how this would be good for us. If our judgement went through Romney wouldn't have had any bound to him anyways. Now that Santorum is in, Ron may have less support than if Santorum stayed out.

But if given 15minutes to speak to everybody, Ron can definitely convince everybody. Santorum and Romney can NOT out perform the good doctor on the podium.

I see this as a possibility of Santorum being the alternative at the RNC, and IMHO a worse prospect than a Romney nomination.

If sanatorium actually won the nod that would be the easiest dem vs rep general election ever

Why would RS help RP? Wouldn't he re-enter to get himself a chance to win?

No way Santorum will re-enter. You're deranged if you believe this. I mean, we haven't even officially won 5 states yet (unofficially it happened a while ago).

the delegates would vote for the person they wanted. If one person doesn't get 1/2 the votes, then you get something resembling a proper convention where people have to pony trade for political power. The lawsuit is meant to make sure delegates know they are federally unbound regardless of instructions from their states, or whoever(nwo, media, etc) where each of them is a free agent. And not voting in blocs for their state and stuff.

I'll have to give Santorum a brownie-point. I really hated the guy after researching him. More than Newt or Mitt. Together it might possible to have a coalition.

Lol, Santorum.

Romney is doing a well enough job not answering the charges leveled against him by the Obama campaign. The longer he goes, the worse it will be for him. Frothy reentering the fray? Good Lord...

It is my solemn hope that the first few hours of the Tampa Show are utter chaos. TPTB need to hear our voice, and I still believe in all of us, that we might rise above the globalist bankster puppetmasters - despite the fact that ol' Frothy probably has them on speed dial, lol
