Rick Santorum Says Vote For Ron Paul If You Want Conservativism

I got the impression that he thought the man was a horrible Ron Paul supporter come to ruin his moment and that by saying, "vote for Ron Paul, that's what you should do" was just calling him out on it. It was his snarky smile afterward that made it look like he thought he was so clever.

PlayPianoKing (aka collectivecheckup)- add a subtitle to the video! People on Facebook are asking "what'd he say?" lol

Yes, but to Rick Santorum, that is not the "conservative" position. Ron Paul is a LIBERTARIAN!!! and Mike Huckabee and Santorum are the real leading conservatives....

this was posted before (can't remember exactly when). it's a shorter version of another video of Ricky campaigning in FL before the primary, iirc.

How the heck has Ron allowed Santorum to anoint himself the "true conservative" in the race??

And no, it's not the media fault...

WOW! If I heard him correctly he said: "Then vote for Ron Paul, that's what you should do."

First Rush Limbaugh saying it, now Santorum himself! LOL! WOW!!!!!

Now, if we can just get Mitt and Newt to say it, we'll have a new campaign ad!

This could also be interpreted Satonrum saying, "didn't matter who you vote for, it's all rigged."

I think we need reverse masking on this.;)

Actually, the media has quite a bit of the blame to bare...but we grassroots are fighting a major uphill battle.
1) A very organized, though openly biased, media against RP in many instances
2) A very disorganized, reactionary, campaign...that has had MILLIONS to do something, and we aren't seeing much from it

When you have the media working against you in most cases, i.e. misrepresenting your positions, spreading propaganda daily/for years, and outright lying, and then you have a campaign that was apparently not prepared for the kitchen sink when it hit them...you have BIG issues.

Also though, you must understand the sheer stupidity of people...the majority of voters only know what they do, from what they see/hear on tv/radio.
The fact Rick Santorum is anywhere in the Republican Party claiming to be a conservative, is laughable...No Child Left Behind, Bridge to Nowhere, etc., etc....

The fact most Americans cannot be bothered to read these candidates own voting records/look at their history, is another MAJOR problem.

It's funny but I don't see it changing any of his supporters minds. They aren't voting for limited government, they are voting for a religious president that will use government to push pro-life policies. I met a ton of these people at my caucus, all they talked about was barbaric abortions and jesus.
