“[I will] fight very strongly against libertarian influence within the Republican party and the conservative movement., he said last June. And in 2005, he remarked, “[Libertarians] have this idea that people should be left alone, be able to do whatever they want to do. Government should keep our taxes down and keep our regulation low and that we shouldn’t get involved in the bedroom, we shouldn’t get involved in cultural issues, you know, people should do whatever they want. Of course he does. He's a pure statist. I'm sorry, but he's worse than Romney.
I want to share this...but can someone post the source for this? Where/when exactly he said it? I googled it, but only found it on a few sites that also didn't post a source. (as far as I saw.)

fwiw, Romney would be all for any type of "freedom" as long as it boosts his bottom line (i.e. potential voters, favorability ratings). Santorum can't stand freedom as a philosophical matter - he wants populist authoritarianism consistent with his war-christianity. He thinks sins should be outlawed and prosecuted without consideration of the costs of doing so, and that he can pick and choose industries to be economic winners (his "domestic energy program").
Santorum is the most hard-line anti-freedom candidate.
Try this:
I completely agree. Romney isn't horrible. He is the 2nd best candidate in the race. Santorum is by far the worst. He is completely bad and it is insane that he is winning states. That is the what the GOP stands for nationally, unfortunately!
“I am not a libertarian, and I fight very strongly against libertarian influence within the Republican Party and the conservative movement. I don’t think the libertarians have it right when it comes to what the Constitution is all about. I don’t think they have it right as to what our history is, and we are not a group of people who believe in no government.”
