Rick Perry on Fox about McCain Scandal

No disrespect, but the mere act of allowing someone to blindfold you and drive you somewhere for the purpose implied seems rather foolish in itself. ;)

i agree. the popularity of glory holes has always puzzled me.

Rick Perry is a TOOL.

I've got relatives that live right smack dab in the middle of where this super piece of shit highway will run and they just may fortress up on their land and invite whoever has the guts to come get 'em.

I've got uncles who are small town politicians who get elected to simply stop the highway. Unfortunately, they are democrats, but, oh well, they hate Perry just the same

DOES ANYONE KNOW HUCKABEE'S STANCE ON THE NAFTA HIGHWAY? HAS McCAIN EVER MADE HIS SUPPORT PUBLIC?

We might just win Texas after all!

Car in the shop is the only reason I'm in here today. I-69 goes through Arkansas, so chances are Huckabee is well aware of it. Just did he push for it while governor. The first time I heard about all of this, was back in '99-'00, when I lived in Indiana. There were people there fighting it because they were going to lose their properties to Eminent Domain. The route is laid out on some map, I just don't know where right now. Up from Mexico, through District 14, I forget where it crosses over into Louisiana, then up through Arkansas, eventually making its way into Indiana, up to Michigan I think. So, how to check into Huckster's knowledge of it...

Check out the story in the Dallas Morning News about his trip to speak
at the Bilderberg conference in Istanbul, Turkey in May 2007.

It sounds like he's being groomed for higher office -- the vice presidency maybe? He's been a good soldier for the establishment, so it's likely he'll be rewarded with some cushy federal job, in the unlikely event McCain wins. If Ron Paul wins, I would suggest appointing him ambassador to Serbia.

Yeah, my car's in the shop, too. Hope your repair is cheaper.

Hey, people--help! We need to flood Texans with proof of McCain's and Huckabee's support of this damned NAFTA turnpike! Help!!

Car out of shop YAY! Having to find some maps for another PL in my county, as he was thinking TTC 35 wasn't as close to his area as it is. Goes between where I live and the city he lives near. Large swath through farms and ranches, plus. He also doesn't realize they are taking into consideration existing roadways and I'm pretty sure one of those is in process now. Tollroad, which is one part of the branch that could very well be the existing road encompassed in that superhighway.

Here is the link to the TTC 69. Laid out much better than the map I saw a few years back, they are making progress. On the full size maps, take note where it heads into Arkansas and another branch goes into Lousiana. There are other maps broken down into blocks for a better view in this link. This corridor system has been on the books for many a year now. I don't remember when Huckabee's reign ended, but he had to have been privy to the information, if not part of its planning. Since its headed for Indiana, it would cut across Arkansas, maybe from entry out through the NE corner.
