I'd say Perry drops after the debates when he opens his mouth on national TV and people realize he is a Bush wannabe. I swear they are related some how.

All this press ass kissing he is getting, I've yet to see a single interview. Not much on him since he declared he is running other than the Bernanke foot-in-mouth gaffe.

That's what I'm saying. The only few times I've heard this guy speak he sounded like a stumbling bumbling idiot just like Bush II. I think the Neocon press worship him so much because he likes to make things go kabloowee just like Bush.

I doubt he will come off sounding any more ignorant than everyone else running(minus Paul) during the debate. He will have people drilling talking points into his head for days and days so he can manage to fit them into any question asked and America will fall for it like so many times in the past.

After watching that video clip I'm much less worried about Perry.

He just won't play well in many parts of the country, and he channels GW so much it should warrant a lawsuit or something.

Perry will be just another flavor of the month.

He might even be more boring than Pawlenty.If this is the best they can do,I'm not overly worried.He's running as Paul with his book 'Fedup' being his claim to principles which,because nobody will read it,the presstitutes can use to show his (faked) constitutional leanings but which he can row back from as 'unachievable' in the near term.The 'join the race' boost seems to be about 10% which subsequently fades over a month or two.If he is their choice,I think they got it wrong.

Eh, I'm not so sure...the main republican base - which somehow all IMMEDIATELY went neo-conservative with Bush during the last decade, it seems - still LOVES Bush and thinks he was the best thing to happen since sliced bread.

I really don't get it. Even my grandmother Arlene, who also ikes Ron...bought Bushes recent book and was talking about how great he was and how she prayed for him and some such. How there cannot be some extreme cognitive dissonance going on inside her with that sort of conflict, I don't know. I need to get out of town to visit her again and see if I can change things up a bit...

I wish all senior citizens would realize that one of their own, who like them, have great knowledge and wisdom, is running for President at a time where such brilliance is desperately needed.

Why they continue to put their trust in younger and shady characters that regardless of party, continue to screw them over, is beyond my understanding.
