This guy is such a tool. Mind you, she's an opportunist herself, stealing direct lines from Ron's speeches after he went to her district to fire up his supporters for her and donated to her campaign (well, his PAC did) when she was in a tight race recently.

However, Perry is just so smarmy.... clearly the idea that he was pissing people off trying to show up the straw poll has created a new side show to the Rick Perry circus act.

Announcing on straw poll day in SC, then visiting Iowa the next day. I hope Iowans punish him for this circus.

Haha.. this is great really... Bachmann and Perry need to tear each other up.

I think we should let those two fight it out. MB might have some of our supporters but there is no way people will go from Perry to Paul. Anywho, diluting there vote is good for us.

Someone in Iowa needs to grab his hand and have a long conversation with him about ignoring Iowans, his false conservatism, and his exploiting religion for political gain. Hopefully it would have the same effect it did on Newt...though it would give the media another excuse not to talk about Ron's victory at Ames.

Ron Paul is at around 15%. What other candidates can't have their supporters go to Paul, in addition to Perry?

Also, explain how this diluting the vote works to our benefit.

People who buy the media meme that Perry is Tea Party could easily go from Perry to Paul when they discover the truth

Which Home town? The one in Iowa or the one in Minnesota (or was it Michigan)? Or, was it where Nixon freed the slaves... after firing the first shot of the Whiskey Rebellion in Nevada?

Gage posted a great picture that sparked an idea... an idea I think we could use to great effect at any Perry events open to the public... especially, with the media present. Still need some good line but here's the picture and a quick thought:

We have posters printed up and carry these around on polls at Perry events (no RP ID please, go buy a Romney shirt). I have a large format color printer and can printed a small run. We keep it short on details... let the public, and the media, ask the questions to his dirty secrets.

Posters nothing. We should have those on packs of cards and tuck individual cards into the passenger window of the driver door of cars at debates, etc. -- while otherwise not identifying ourselves with any candidate.

One mole for Conway outed himself by clearly being a volunteer for Conway during part of the day and posting as a 'racist Rand Paul supporter' at the fair during another part of the day. Video made national news....

I can get these printed or make them into downloadable PDFs if people are interested and will take action! I would like to add a few more and need people to submit ideas. We could also print details on the reverse side... but, I would need a clever word smith to write up the text.
LibertyEagle... you out there? Give me some words and lets get this jerk!

Here's another thought:
Rick Perry?
Texas is Booming...
Because China is Drilling!

or
Rick Perry?
New Job in Texas
Chinese Jobs!

or
Rick Perry?
Need a Job?
Come to Texas and
Work for the Chinese!

LARGE contracts and drilling rights have been sold to the Chinese by... guess who? And its costing us big time in ecological damage and the theft of public resource... like water (which is a big deal in Texas)!

hopefully, Gage will allow this image to be used without permission... to keep off any 'fingerprints'

I'd download a pdf and print it onto card stock, absolutely!

You'd have to ask Gage about the image, he prefers credit but has indicated that he might be open to not having it in an unusual circumstance. On the other hand, since he allows use just with credit, anyone including a NON Ron Paul supporter could have used his stuff....

Perry and MB base are pretty much the same so now he is splititng the votes giving rp a chance to sneak in for the win. If Perry drops out I don't see there voters coming our way.

The ones who aren't doing homework would, it is why Bachmann, and to a lesser extent Perry, are stealing Ron's lines and positions. Their followers just think they are the real thing. Obviously, the overlap isn't 100%, but it might be 30%, and that 30% is on the economy which is very important to people right now.

If Bachmann is currently at 30 percent lets say, Ron Paul is at 25, Perry entering the race will take away votes from Bachmann and give them to Perry. Ron Paul usually has pretty solid support while the other candidates support is pretty fluid obviously because they are interchangeable talking point neocons.

That's the problem most people are aren't investing time on politics. They are viewing it as elections as a year away. The best thing we can do is get a good position so when people start paying attention we will have a good foundation in place ie winning straw polls and gaining credibility.

Do you think we'll win the nomination if we top out at 25%?
