RI - The Brown University shooting

I don't think I have made myself clear, I want no more immigration from anywhere.

Of any kind.

For any reason.

For any length of time.

But, that does not mean I disagree: you're right, sometimes bad shit happens for no damn good reason.
Same here! I also want free everything! And I want for nobody to ever get sick ever again! Periodt!

And I won't stop complaining until the politicians give me these demands!

If the flood of all other immigration and refugee sources was shut down, then I would be agreeable to shutting that down as well.

If not, then yes, White South Africans take precedence.

Right to the front of the line folks.
So.....I'm confused. You don't think the Portugese guy should have been here even though he didn't come from what Trump called a "sh*thole country", but you want the South Africans to be "at the front of the line" since there's still mass immigration going on and they are different from people from Portugal because.....? Right wing idenity politics makes no sense.

The Nazis has had a spectrum of categories. The Aryan race was at the top, which included Germans and other northern Europeans, but not southern Europeans, like Portuguese. White Afrikaners probably would qualify as Aryans though. And in fact, as people who see themselves as victims of attempted white genocide, and better yet, potentially supporters of Apartheid, they stand to be a positive boon to the demographics of the USA, from the vantage point of our resident white nationalists.

Well stated, thanks, saved me some typing.

So....you're arguing from the standpoint of being a Nazi? Seriously?

That's not saying that Ron Paulitics doesn't make sense. It's saying people don't make sense. Those are two different things.

Yeah, but then Paulitics isn't politics. The Greek root word means citizen. Paul is the best of citizens, not the most typical.

Ask H. L. Mencken. He'll explain it.

Ethnonationalists always need an enemy, someone to blame for the state of their lives and their countries.

The identity of that enemy is flexible because it's all just made up anyway.

If they ever got into power they'd be constantly shifting the line of acceptable genetics in order to keep a scapegoat race constantly available.

(Religious nationalists are the same.)

So then "Paulitics" would be the act of trying to convince people to be better citizens. Hard but not impossible and certainly not nonsensical. That's completely different than right wing identity politics (basically ethnonationalism as @TheCount pointed out) because the end goal is rational. The end goal of ethnonationalism is irrational as the prototypical ethnonationalist, Adolf Hitler, got his ideas from Ayrans in India, a country that white ethnonationalists call a "sh*thole country." It's not just that the goal is possibly unreachable (like having the best of citizens). It's that he goal is self contradictory on its face. Just look at this story. A Portugese shooting another Portugese is being used to justify the idea that no Portugese should be allowed to come to the U.S. even though Portugal is a European country.
