RFK Jr.'s 2024 POTUS campaign

If your guy Trump never changed the letter after his name back in 2015-2016 and still had the letter D, would you still have voted for him?

Asking for a friend.

I didn't vote for him in 2016.
I didn't trust him for a lot less than is wrong with RFK Jr.
I only supported him when he proved what his real policies were in office, we can't risk that with RFK Jr. who is much worse than Trump ever was when he was trying to do business in Hollywood and NYC.

I don't know about that. Ron Paul had RFK Jr. on his program, and even had him attend as Special Guest speaker at the "War on Us Conference" that I attended myself (I even had dinner with Ron and company again). Ron never invited or asked Trump to be on his show or speak at an event.

Ron Paul did say that Trump was not his favorite president, not only at the conference, but on an episode as well. Come to think of it, Tom Massie, who I also had the pleasure of hanging out with, even spoke at length about all of the stupid anti-liberty stunts Trump tried to pull. He didn't like Trump either.

So, there's 3 of us versus 1 of you. Who do you think I am going to believe?

He thinks you're going to believe him--as soon as he repeats his lie 67,305 more times.

You project, as usual.

Nice load of fallacies you have there.

Lord, the irony.

Dude. Pick one, just because we're curious. Can you take time away from spamming the snot out of us to do this one little thing?

1. Kennedy might be good for the Democratic Party and Democrats in general, but we should be silent about it all because that entire portion of the population is a complete write off, they must not be encouraged, and dealing with them will give you cooties.

2. Kennedy might be good for the Democratic Party and Democrats in general, but he steals attention away from the Orange Attention Whore in Chief, and that's unforgivable in this cult.

3. Kennedy is a solid enough choice to steal orange votes, so you must attack and destroy!

I support telling Donkeys to vote for him.
He's going to lose and be no threat in the general but he will embarrass Brandon.

You are promoting him as a liberty candidate and pretending he is better than Trump.
That's ridiculous and can't go unopposed.

Well all right, then. Why the big hissy fit? Jealous I have someone to get behind who truly doesn't want Bill Gates to rewrite my DNA, and you don't?

Why? You've said things a damned sight more ridiculous than that in defense of that mancrush of yours. Besides, how am I supposed to tell donkeys to vote for him? All you ever do is make excuses for yours. I think I can do a better job selling this guy to donkeys than your angry nagging ever did selling the fat man to me.

The Very Strange New Respect for Authoritarian Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The enemy of your enemy is not your friend; he's a guy who might want to throw you in jail.

Ever since the 69-year-old conspiratorial activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. declared his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination last week, a curious new category has appeared among the commentariat—libertarians and/or right-of-center journalists expressing strange new respect for a Hugo Chavez–admiring scion of the Establishment who has serially fantasized about throwing his political opponents in jail.

Good read. Of course the author ignores the fact that sometimes people change views after experiencing things themselves. In this case, RFK Jr. didn't experience censorship until COVID. Tucker Carlson has now realized he was wrong to attack "conspiracy theorists." So it could be a change of heart or it could be pandering for crossover votes.

Kennedy declares transgenders should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports

Be gr8 if he was already a Democrat Senator

Hmmm....hard to tell if that's what he really feels or if he's appealing for crossover votes. There is a growing consensus, even among the left, that the biological men in women's sports push is a bridge too far.

Figures Reason would be quick to gloss over the fact that this "scion of the Establishment" saw his uncle, dad and first cousin killed by the CIA.

I think I have to consider the possibility that such a thing could add nuance to even a Democrat's worldview.

I agree.

How I hate to agree with matt Welch, but there it is:

I disagree with Welch. But I do agree with Ron Paul:

Ron Paul's Farewell Address to Congress: [snip]

Without an intellectual awakening, the turning point will be driven by economic law. A dollar crisis will bring the current out-of-control system to its knees.

If it’s not accepted that big government, fiat money, ignoring liberty, central economic planning, welfarism, and warfarism caused our crisis we can expect a continuous and dangerous march toward corporatism and even fascism with even more loss of our liberties. Prosperity for a large middle class though will become an abstract dream.

This continuous move is no different than what we have seen in how our financial crisis of 2008 was handled. Congress first directed, with bipartisan support, bailouts for the wealthy. Then it was the Federal Reserve with its endless quantitative easing. If at first it doesn’t succeed try again; QE1, QE2, and QE3 and with no results we try QE indefinitely—that is until it too fails. There’s a cost to all of this and let me assure you delaying the payment is no longer an option. The rules of the market will extract its pound of flesh and it won’t be pretty.

The current crisis elicits a lot of pessimism. And the pessimism adds to less confidence in the future. The two feed on themselves, making our situation worse.

If the underlying cause of the crisis is not understood we cannot solve our problems. The issues of warfare, welfare, deficits, inflationism, corporatism, bailouts and authoritarianism cannot be ignored. By only expanding these policies we cannot expect good results.

Teddy and the rest of the clan saw it too, it didn't do a thing to get them to really oppose the powers that be.
How can you tell that you can't trust a Massachusets clan Kennedy? they are still breathing.
All the less bad ones are dead.

2022 recipients of the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award included Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America; Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex; and -- wait for it -- Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine. Proceedings were emceed by Alec Baldwin

Sort of odd that RFK Jr. claims he discovered his son was fighting against Russia in Ukraine last year when he looked at the (26-year-old) son's credit card bills (?) "Putin is a gangster, he's homicidal, he's a thug, he's one of the worst people alive today," RFK Jr. declared

If he has access to his 26-year-old son's credit card bills, does that mean RFK Jr. was paying for the son to fight against Russia on front-line combat missions -- purportedly as a machine gunner and a drone operator? Nice photo shoots, too. Great lighting
